The CG and slow-mo action shot were the least of the problems with Age of Ultron.
When half the film is focused on CGI it becomes pretty important. Buy yeah, for me the worst part is post-production dialogs/voiceovers - what's fine for TV should be unacceptable for a major blockbuster.

Say what you want about AOU, at least its not boring.

pointless is one word i would use. meaningless action, against meaningless clones.
pointless action is still pointless. which makes it boring.

Man of steel was not "Boring" by any means, second half is nothing but action. Robocop remake is nothing but action too

are THOSE great movies just because they are not "Boring?"

Maybe boring is too harsh a term for DOFP, the plot certainly had me engaged but that entire series lacks thrilling superhero set pieces, which AOU had in abundance.

The QS scene was the only cool superhero part.

Im not even defending DOFP :lol

Im only thinking that Ultron had action but it wasn't engaging or even entertaining, or even memorable.

I saw ultron twice already and I can't remember wtf goes on at the end, I only remember everyone beating up uultron and the conversation he has with Vision.

From the moment that city goes up to the moment Ultron gets beat up It all feels like a haze. I dont remember well why Quicksilver gets shot, (Dont remember what lead to that,

Who shoots him? have no idea, I dont remember why Scarlet Witch ends up grabbing Ultron's heart, how did she end up with him?
how do they save the city from crashing to the earth?

Where the hell was War Machine and what did he do? I vaguely remember him showing up at the end but dont remember what he does.

It is not because I wasn't paying attention, The last half of Ultron feels like a big mess with characters running around killing pointless robots just adding screen time to the movie so that they can all attack Ultron at the end. (most of the action feels like filler)

The only scene I truly loved was Hulk Vs Ironman.

Hulk vs. Iron Man was very good. But the film was paced and edited in such a way that the audience couldn't fully appreciate it as they should have been able to.

Because it was too much stuff. I'll give Whedon that, he made it watchable AND enjoyable despite the ASM2++ level of amount of content it has.

Yeah, he had to continue from the last Avengers, add bits from the individual films and be a lead in for not only Civil War, Thor Ragnarok, but also Infinity war. Whedon had a lot to cram in there.

Most of the characters suffered for it.

Should've jettisoned the love story for starters.

Yeah him and Portman had some bad chemistry. She felt more like a little sister than a love interest.

ugh i forgot... the silly Stan cameo, oh god that was party was cringe lol
Yep, totally cringe. It would have been more interesting if that drink killed Stan, then Thor and Steve would propping him up like Weekend at Bernie's.
