So any comic buffs -- is Sharon Carter likely to have a large role in Civil War?
All I know is she was hypnotized by Hydra and shoots Captain America and kills him??

Just watch it Khev. Seriously, you'll love it.

Consider it an appetizer. Consider it faith restored that Whendon ain't going to just throw Cap to the side lines. Stark is gonna be intimidate by dat Cap!

Oh what the hell. Fine, but that's the only non-trailer clip I'm gonna watch.

Aaaaand....boo ya! Good stuff! Good to see Stark intimidated by Cap instead of rolling his eyes at him. :rock

I'm glad that Marvel went with Captain America: Civil War and not Cap Vs. IM: Civil War.

I can only cringe at the whining, bitching and moaning that would have went on from peeps smack talking that Marvel ripped of WB. :rolleyes2 :lol

I doubt it. She hasn't had much time to develop as a character and doesn't have that history with Rogers that the comic version did. But it's possible.

I actually think Marvel may have had this planned before or during Batman vs. Superman.

Unless they just shot the recent leaked exchange between Rogers and Stark for the event. :lol

Where does Bucky fit into this? I hope that he's not just tossed aside story-wise for the sake of having more Ironman. I want to see another good Captain America movie...not Avengers 2.5...

The Marvel universe will still be someone thin by the time of Cap 3. Maybe Bucky will show up to help his buddy battle Iron Man.

I'm thinking it will be Evans since it is a Cap movie but who knows. :lol

That would be a ballsy move by Marvel with Cap finally hitting his stride with fans. Cap2 is the first CBM my wife was ever worried about if I were getting it PO'd or not. She loved Guardians as well, maybe I've just got her brainwashed after all these years. :lol

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this will be the Marvel movie to beat.

With the Russo Brothers directing again I would have to agree. :D

Congrats on converting your wife to the Dark Side! :lol

Next Tuesday Emily Vancamp is hosting a 75th year tribute to Marvel. I would say thats to give her exposure to the Marvel audience. I also wouldn't be surprised to see her pop up in AoS beforehand either just to keep her familiar.

So someone for sure is dying off in Avengers 2?

For a minute or two maybe.
LOL yeah. Evans wants to explore his "directing career," suggesting he'll be out at one point or another. Presumably he'll be killed off (though I suspect it will happen at the end of Civil War). But knowing how these things often play out, he'll realize he's not exactly Ingmar Bergman or Federico Fellini and come crawling back to Marvel sooner or later to cash in while he's still able to.

As for who is likely to die in Avengers 2? I'm guessing Selvig, because he's the most expendable secondary character that comes to mind. That's the easy way out. Ballsier moves would be taking out some more major character, like Rhodey, or. . .Black Widow. If I were making decisions, I would take Widow out because I'm kind of tired of her, and since she's about as important as any other character in the franchise at this point it would have real impact. . .until she was miraculously revived a couple of films down the road. Possibly by Thanos using his god powers.
