Its just a detail, I don't care that much. But the MCU will always be more "realistic" if you will. So suddenly using the title "Captain America" on someone else would be weird imho

Its like if Tony dies and Rhodey starts to use his suit , he will never be Iron Man... he is Rhodey with Tony's suit. It would be weird to call him Iron Man

I'll give you that the MCU is at least different in that there are no secret identities. In the comics Captain America was always just that, a mystery man in a costume, so he could be anybody. But in the MCU the general population knows who he is and even gets history lessons if they don't. In fact, "Captain Rogers" is almost his default moniker.

I'm with Khev on this one. The alter personas are even less important in the movies than they are in the comics. It's not a defining personality trait, it's just a role, like being a manager at a store, or a literal captain in the army. Shifting from one Cap to another one is no problem IMO.

And knowing the MCU they'll do a funny montage of various talk shows weighing in on what they think of Cap's new alter ego.

Getting a new Cap would be a major story event for that character though. I don't know how they'd cram it in if he dies at the end of Civil War and then needs to be replaced in time for Infinity War. I think they should just pay Evans whatever it takes to get him to close out Phase III and then they can play around with the Death of Cap/Cap No More stuff.

For me calling someone Captain America is not like calling someone "Captain" its not a rank or job

Cap's personality is what makes him such an iconic hero, as I said for me its ok if someone else uses his shield. But I can't see Bucky telling people to call him "the new Captain America" when the real Cap was his best friend.

IMHO

Anyway, it would be sad to see Cap die before Thanos arrives...

Something will happen to him in Civil War, but if he dies it would feel a little premature

Wait, my bad. With title I mean the name.

Even if Bucky starts to use the shield and all that, he will still be Bucky, no one will call him "Captain America" I was just talking about the name. I don't see the name being used more than once

But yeah I think most of the original main heroes will be replaced after phase 3

No Steve = no Cap to me. I don't care who they put in the suit it's not the same. It's not just a cap thing, I've never liked it in any of the series tbh.

Yep, I really like Emily VanCamp. I thought she did fine with her role. She didn't really get the chance for her character to do much with the amount of screen time she had.

They kept saying Cap 2 was the film for her introduction, so I'm expecting them to flesh her character out a bit more in the upcoming films and make her Caps love interest too.

and just because...

Hayley Atwell > Emily VanCamp

And no, I suspect Cap will never get to Peg or Fondue before Chris Evans leaves. Then again, if Hulk and Black Widow are smashin', I don't see why Rogers shouldn't have his chance elsewhere. Makes me wonder if he views everyone around him as youngin's or something. "I'm old enough to be your great, great, great Grandfather!".
