The Clown Prince of Crime
Super Freak
They both tried to make the best films they could, and again, *it doesn't matter what they tried to make,* only what they *did* make. Being lucky is sometimes better than being good (Spielberg was obviously both, Wiseau was only the former.) No one cares about any filmmaker's intentions when they're watching a movie, only whether or not they're being entertained.
We're not talking about just being entertained though? That's why I made the "best" and "favorites" lists The Room can be a personal favorite like Commando for many reasons, but I wouldn't put it on a list of best films of the decade.
In fact, a few weeks ago I posted a list of the 100 best films of the 21 century (so far) by the BBC (get your mind outta the gutter ), and I was teasing you about the Cap films not being on the list because TDK was the only comic book film on that list. And you said that although the CA films are some of your favorite films, you wouldn't put them on that list of best films of the 21th century either.
