Good to know, every now and then I pick up and older figure; tho cautious about it.

Wellll....for me, this fig isn't all there - IMO that likeness should have been jaw-dropping after all the Caps that have been put out. Not sure I'd get the new one anyway, as the Strike Suit never screamed "Captain America" to me. Plus, I don't like the shield color.

I love the stealth suit without the mask as it looks like Commander Rogers from the comics.

I really thought I was done with 1/6 and would never buy any more, but there's been some great looking figures lately. I was so hyped for the original Strike suit Cap but everyone knows how that turned out. If they can match the prototype this time, I'll have to get this.

They should revise the head and also throw in the traditional red shield since he has it while wearing this suit in the elevator fight.

I agree with this. The scene when he escapes shield HQ on the motorcycle and takes down the jet was amazing.

Rewatched the movie and kept thinking how perfect it is - in the sense of editing, introducing Falcon, action moments, quiet moments, music, performances.

But still taking a wait and see approach to this version. Like, is HT gonna pull an Obi-Wan with the head sculpt, maybe throw in the red shield, etc.

But still taking a wait and see approach to this version. Like, is HT gonna pull an Obi-Wan with the head sculpt, maybe throw in the red shield, etc.

I'll be satisfied with this as is. I'd be happy if HT decides to do GA Cap as a 2.0 would be amazing especially a BD Steve sculpt to go with it.

Same, re-watched it last night. Damn-near perfect movie. I hope Hot Toys does better with the Winter Soldier likeness than they did here with Evans.

They've got no excuse the IW sculpt is perfection just change the hair. They don't even have to work hard besides developing a knife/sheathe and the jacket. Everything else they already have patterns for or made before. Maybe add the Barrett rifle and an interesting stand.

They previously showed that they were changing the headsculpt. It’s not new news. It wasn’t a bate and switch as your post suggests.
They revealed the figure in April 2023 with the original prototype headsculpt, then revealed the updated headsculpt in May of 2024 with an official announcement on their social platforms.
If anyone didn’t like the updated headsculpt, they had plenty of time to cancel their order
