Sorry, man - it's what Hot Toys does. Inexplicable things for no reason. And once they run with it, they may not correct it. While yes, visually it seems okay now...don't be surprised on day of arrival. They have more reason (artistically) to modify unmasked but not necessarily helmeted.

Incidentally, the Endgame Stealth Suit (which I believe is the last released Cap...yep you guessed it.

Why would they reuse the pinhead sculpt? They didn’t for the new Stealth Suit.

Agreed. Doesn't make sense given that this new sculpt wasn't a reuse. If anything, the new helmeted sculpt from this figure will be what's going to get reused for the foreseeable future of modern Cap figures. Both headsculpts with maybe a change of hair for the unhelmeted will more than likely be used for any Cap after A1 aside from maybe a Golden Age Cap 2.0

Endgame is still my favorite suit. It has the elements that make the CW suit great, plus scalemail. If my Winter Soldier waitlist doesn't convert and they don't release Golden Age, I'm probably just hanging onto Endgame 1.0 until a 2.0 comes out.

Yea if I was in that situation, I’d just upgrade the helmeted head on my Endgame with the new STRIKE suit one and call it until the chance at another modern Cap comes.

That’s my plan.

That’s why I am anxious for the new Strike Suit to be released although I don’t plan on buying that version …just want the helmeted sculpt.
