Nope. it would list HT as sculptors on the sideshow page if that were the case. Their collaboration with the clones was the armor, and the body.

If that is correct, sideshow has not taken full advantages of the collaboration, as HT is producing better head sculpt.

Sideshow has always had great sculptors... its painting the heads where they have failed. But, this looks like a quantum leap above previous efforts with young human sculpts (the oldsters and aliens have always looked good).

Got my Rex today and this figure is stunning... The chest armor is really tight fitting unlike the stormtroopers no need for heating and vending into shape.. Lots of accessories...

Wow, this guy is loaded. Do we really need 10 hands? Love the posed feet though and the magnetic backpack. Great figure - but completely overshadowed by Hammerhead (best figure of the year!)

Wow. I had already (once receiving him) stated that Greedo was the Best Release-- looks like they keep outdoing themselves. Can't wait to get these two in hand!!

Oh man I can not wait. Another bad thing about figures coming right after another besides the hit to the wallet is who do I like more? I think Hammerhead is awesome looking but now I want Rex more. So when my figures arrive poor Hammerhead is going to get kicked to the curb because I will be favoring and paying all my attention to Rex. Also that Gammorean? Oh yeah I ordered him to and well I am to bedazzled with Rex to even remember.

I don't have confirmation, but I believe this has the new type of head paint where they cast it in flesh color and paint over that - like HT does. I have to agree it's a great improvement and hopefully all the others will be like that from now on.
