I don't have confirmation, but I believe this has the new type of head paint where they cast it in flesh color and paint over that - like HT does. I have to agree it's a great improvement and hopefully all the others will be like that from now on.

With the exception of Ep. II Obi, they've been doing that for all the human toned figures since CloneObi.

And that doesn't mean that we will still get great paint apps. Remember the Han and Luke pack. I think that as a whole those apps were terrible.

I love SS but, this is an area that needs some attention.

True, although this looks like they actually added to the skintone... rather than just let the plasticy head color be largelly untouched.

Just a quick FYI for UK and Ireland customers, Play.com has Rex on sale, as far as i can see on SSC it'd be $150 in total with delivery of $25 which is around £93, but adding on import duties it might be more cost effective (for once) to get it from Play
