Of course, that's the first statue this year I was telling everyone to get PWN'D by, I predict Sabretooth is gonna be another sleeper once it dries up.

i had a chance last year to get it at btts but it was the only 2 months since i knew about sideshow so i didnt get it, im very disappointed in myself

Got my replacement yesterday, had a much easier time setting it up this time, he is BEAUTIFUL!!!!, the replacement is perfect too. Now that everything is settled i can now look objectively at the final piece and give my thoughts...

Pros:

1. So damn Awesome
2. Fantastic pose and colour/paint, glossy!
3. Excellent head sculpt even inside the mouth
4. Tendrils make him unique from venom/spidey
5. Awesome left arm finger claws

Cons:

1. Scythe arm is a darker red colour mismatch
2. Would have preffered a double-sided battle axe arm instead
3. Daily Bugle Base should match the colour of venoms (not a big deal if you dont have venom, which i dont)
4. Should've come with proper instructions.

I've read that some of them are and some aren't.

Yeah, technically mine were color coded, but not very well. They are also numbered if you look at them at just the right angle. Between the numbers and the colors it still takes about an hour to set up but it is so worth it when it is done. :rock

Now the wait for Spidey begins. :impatient:

Although I didn't get this one yet (but I will asap), the colour difference between Carnage's and Venom's bases don't bother me at all.

He's definitely up there. Venom and Carnage are two of the most awesome comiquettes so far imho.

Gore Group + 1/4 scale = Awesome stuff!

This is my biggest problem with collecting (other than finding space :lol). My family likes to point out with each new collectible, that "you're just straight onto the next one after, so why spend so much money on something thats just gonna sit there, while you wait for the next over and over". They say this and they "dont get the attraction", it's retail therapy or "where are you gonna put this one then".

Drives me fricking mad :gah: :gah: :gah:

Just tell them you spent the money you would have otherwise used on booze and drugs on collectibles, and if they don't like how it works, they should send a strongly worded letter to the Victoria & Albert Museum because you modelled your collecting habits after them.

Disclaimer: If they kicked you out of the house it's not my fault.
