its the 2010 Hyundai Genesis coupe, i got the 4 cylinder turbo. they had a v-6 available but it wasnt turbocharged and i know for the most part stock turbos are crap at least it will be easier for me to upgrade to a better turbo whenever i want all for 21,000 :rock :rock

If you upgrade the stock turbo you will void your warranty.

It depends on what breaks. You can add aftermarket parts it is ok. However, if the dealer can prove that the damage was a direct result after adding said part then yes it would not be covered.

I know this because I added a flux capacitor to my Honda and they gave me all sorts of shat about it. :lecture

i know it would they even told me that at the dealership, just looking at upgrading after warranty expires, but i could to other stuff like change out the exhaust and intake and not void warranty

Cars....... my other kryptonite... :drool

I used to be in a car show club in Tampa, FL (Team SSP). I went through cars like I went through my underwear... :lol

My show car at the time was a 2006 WRX hooked up pretty nice (Chargespeed body kit, Front Mount Intercooler, chipped, exhaust, downpipe, the goodies :devil

-This was at the 2007 HIN in St. Pete a while back, when I was sponsored by Dunlop tire....

After that I sold the car (stupid decision) because it became such a target.... It got broken into, tickets, etc..... So I sold it and got a 2005 350Z and threw in a single Turbonetics turbo kit :D (387rwhp).... That thing ripped some asphalt :banana

Indeed. Also, not all dealerships void warranties because of mods. In fact, the dealership I bought my latest car carries many aftermarket parts and installs them for fairly decent prices.

~~New Challenger...:slap no thanks. Big, heavy, and slow.

:rock Nice. I have an '08 STI Stage 2. I plan on getting one of the new 1Ms next year and keeping the STI for a family car. :rotfl

This is true.... I got all my mods done on my WRX at Mastro Subaru. Bill in the parts department hooked me up all the time, and was REALLY cool about my warranty and stuff. Just depends where you go, and how nice you are to the folks there

Yeah my Honda dealership will install Mugen parts and all of that if you want to shell out the cash.

Thanks man! Yeah, I noticed you had the '08 Sti...... JEALOUS. I would eventually like to get an Sti ONE DAY. So by "1M" are you referring to the BMW?? :D

The M3 is one of my dream cars. I drool whenever I see one of those (or a new GTR........)

^^^Oh yeah. I know Bill, that's where I bought my car 2 years ago. Yeah, there's a new 1M in development for the 135 chassis that is going to have a twin turbo V6 rumored to have around 350hp. :drool...and with the way they currently accept mods 400whp should be pretty easy to obtain, and on a 3000lb car

Chris man you got a Z?!?

Nioceeeeeeee.

:lol

Actually I don't anymore. I had it for about a year, then I had to sell it to move to Cali.... But I ended up buying a 2010 Mini Cooper Clubman. Talk about SLOOOOOWWWWWW. :lol:lol:lol But I love it. Nice little car, with AMAZING gas mileage  This is my grocery-getter until I finish school and land a job :wink1:

Yeah, Bill is good people. He was great when I was modding up my rex.

But wow, that 1M sounds ridiculous...... I wonder what the price tag on that little puppy is going to be :monkey3

There's a lot of speculation at this point, but there are many people that believe it will be low $50k because it's supposed to be an entry level M car. I already have a deal worked out with the GF. We're going to trade her car in for one and split the payment...I get the M, and she gets the STI as a hand-me-down.
