Bought hinges and handles yesterday. Doors (acrylic sheets) will be made by a local company here once I get the hinges. I bought overlay hinges so I dont have to modify the shelves, but you were right null, finding hinges to support the weight of the door was not easy. Specs show I would need 3 hinges per door. I'm basing this off of the door being about 40 pounds.
Ill put together some pics and how i set mine up once it is all built. I have the cabinets and the shelving all up with lighting and statues already in the cabinets. Need to get these doors built quick because my 7 mo old has already been reaching for the statues on the bottom of the case.
Also one more question Null, does your acrylic ever expand or contrast. The plastics company I talked to here said they it may expand or contrast so i am unsure on the exact size i want to get. Your door is an inlay door, does it go all the way to the edge or did you leave a small gap on the side and top/bottom of the door?
