Perhaps Sideshow are waiting for the new figures to ship before announcing.

i think they already have everything done.
They had the head being sculpted a while ago and clothing aint a problem.

they proabbly just need word from the licensers and thats the long wait.

And the licensors are probably being bombarded with alot of other requests since the movie was such a huge hit!

How could they NOT make him? They created the Legacy line to lead him him, they had the Bond-voyage to Brosnan contest, and had the Casion Royale table with the legacy figures by Craig's hands from the poster! The only thing that hasn't happened is the official announcement. The only thing I can think of is Craig is being a buttmunch about the head sculpt(s).

What reason is/was there to think the announcement would have to be timed with the release of the movie? Have they done that with any other properties? They might be waiting til Toy Fair...

Most of their stuff is from vintage films, they have done releases timed for the property - with other Bonds, Van Helsing, Hellboy - in fact any time it was for a new property.

Really? They announce them WHILE those films were in release? I thought I remember some coming before, and some coming after.

I didn't follow those releases, so I don't know, but the marketing never seemed SO closely timed with the films' releases.

Yep, all those you mention were announced before the films were released, although I think LotR first wave was only solicited around the time of the first film.

I am annoyed at SS for not getting this licence like they did the Brosnan's.

I'm still kicking myself for not going after the custom posted by Plastic Earth on ebay. Doesn't look like SS is going to be doing one (anytime soon anyway). Certainly doesn't pay to be a supporter of any 1/6th line other than SW or LOTR
