Gay. Hathaway makes me sick. Rental it is.
I have no doubt this franchise will follow in the footsteps of the Terminator films.
T1 = Amazing film
T2 = Better than the original for some on par for others
T3 = Utter ____
T4 = Hang me
Euhm, since T3 => another director + screenwriter.
Makes a lot of difference.
Most good trilogies go with the same artistic team that all the way!
Hm, what was the franchise where the first 2 movies were awsome but since the 3rd one it got downhill due to nipples?
Just saying, there are a lot of examples of bad trilogies where you can easily point out WHY it went downhill since the 3rd movie.
ALL good trilogies however are good because they have the same team behind it from start to finish.
Lord of the Rings
Back to the Future
Godfather
ALL bad trilogies have at least one thing in common, they switched and switched.
Terminator is a great example. Legendary first 2 movies, by the 3rd one you could see the magic was gone together with the director.
SOME trilogies where they switched from director or writer, brought out some descent trilogies.
So it aint always bad.
Best example: Star Wars (although Lucas did follow up closely), the first trilogy was more than descent.
Wich makes we wonder why he did such a bad job in the new trilogy when he witnessed the making of the first trilogy from the first row...
Alien, different films, different directors, but not considered a disaster (talking about the first 3 only)
X-men: disputable, imo I liked the 3rd one.
Since the Nolan movies are all directed by Chris, written by Chris + Goyer + sometimes his brother, screenplayed by the same bunch.
I would assume this will be a trilogy that will be considered a good one
But there are exceptions:
oeps, the new Star Wars trilogy, can it be any more worse.
Same director + writer + producer, he had everything and he still did manage to ____ up.
Spider-man...nuff said, why why why did he do that 3rd movie in such a way?
Actually now that I think of it, I do to. I was just making a point, badly...
yeah, you should leave the point making to me
