Sounds like we can't agree to disagree seeing that this same pointless sculpt vs fabric argument is brought up constantly over and over again in all of these threads.

I used to be for all-fabric PFs and got annoyed when people would say "all-sculpt PFs only" but after seeing Baroness crappy backside in person and some of the cheap fabrics used on PFs seen at my LCS then seeing Deadpool PF and Sonja and WW I have changed my mind and gone to the "all sculpt with a little bit of fabric" darkside :rotfl Again, not everyone will agree untilthey get a piece where the sculpt looks bad cuz of fabric. I think on Supes and Bats the fabric works great as well as on the new Cap PF but for the women pfs, it RARELY if ever does. Ms Marvel and Vampi being the only exceptions because there was little fabric just imo. :peace Night all, I gotta hit the hay :)

Well said! :goodpost: I totally agree. :clap

The moment it was revealed Harley was fabric, I knew Catwoman would be. I'm hoping I'm wrong though. If it looks bad, I'll skip it and wait for another Batman character.

no not really :lol

Come on let's be positive here. :lecture I've been a long veteran now for almost 2 years! I have acquire a massive amount of knowledge since I join. Since I learn so much now I'm keeping my screen name forever. it can only improve from here. Thanks to you all here. :)

Unless they really impress me, I think her being sculpted over fabric will probably prevent me from buying her. I just find painted bodies to be a bit boring and somewhat of a lame cop out to the skin tight outfit idea. They are so nonsensical within actual comics, depicting every curve or line of muscle even more than body paint would. When actual fabrics are a choice I enjoy seeing a more realistic approach. To me that's what separates 1/4 from other scales. The usage of fabric is pretty rare in smaller scales might as well make use of it. I can understand the lonely people out there who want her chest to be as large as possible, but I am more interested in the possibility of an accurate depiction of a catsuit in this scale. I think it would be really cool if they could get a leather or rubberish (preferably not the kind that tears...) quality to it.

Otherwise a nearly all black figure will just look kind of boring. I can only hope they go all out with the base or there won't be much of anything to look at. People like to forget that Batman and Superman walk around in outfits just as skin tight as the girls, but apparently them being in fabric was no big deal at all. I would like to see Catwoman matching Harley, Joker, and Batman. Seems foolish to do otherwise.

Monger, did you like Harley? I thought she looked awful just imo like a doll as I said before. No worries if you like her, I get it. Did you ever see Baroness, the seams looked horrible. Unless they can guarantee much better QC I like sculpted with a bit of fabric. I guess that's why they keep doing both styles--to please all of us. I am just tired of cheap fabrics being used on the ladies and hiding their beautiful curves. Ivy lloked great sculpted but her paint was awful so it is hit and miss. On the boys though, the fabric usually looks great. It does work nicely on Cap and Supes :). I hear your point tho. I would be for a bodysuit if it worked, but after seeing that cheap fabric on Harley, I want Catwoman painted with a fabric whip as the PF part. Of course IMO and to each their own, you have valid points I just have not liked Sideshow QC lately. Black Widow comic PF tho is looking good but we will see if her fabric outfit is a disaster in hand or not. :)

It was a big deal to me. I canceled my Superman EX because I couldn't get over the cloth. I reluctantly excepted it with Batman because I thought it looked a lot better. I wouldn't worry about Cat Woman being fully sculpted; I'd be willing to bet money that she'll be dressed in some terrible pleather suit.
