I gotta say, the $400 tag on this one is just rubbing me the wrong way. It is obvious that THIS is SSCs NEW PF price, and I wouldn't expect there to be a big change on any of their lines from here on out, but we are talking about over a 10% increase in price over the Harley PF and that is in less than a year. Don't get me wrong, I understand the Trinity being at the $400 mark to justify doing lesser know characters down the road as a subsidy, not to mention that you get SO much with those PFs. However, I was hoping that the lesser characters would still be hovering around the $360 mark. I kind of think that the $400 tag is going to be turning more and more people away with time.

I'm feeling myself priced out more and more and now have to be really selective on what statues I (pre)order.
Not a good place to be with so many quality pieces coming up left right and center.

IF you have the WW Ex on order then I would keep that, and sort out Catwoman down the road. WW is by far the better statue IMHO and she will fit in well with the Trinity, and lets face it a big *** axe is a far cooler Ex then then a stringy bag full of marbles. Now this one, well I think you will be able to get her down the road for a lower price locally. Now yeah it will be a Regular, but like I said I wouldn't call the Ex on this a MUST.

Thnks guys for ur replies. I will keep the EX WW as the Axe is far cooler than the bag on Catwoman EX (reminds me a mouse from a distance). I could buy a regular Catwoman later on...THNKS again

We always hope for the best. Chances are good given that there is a lot of focus on nailing the DC line as it is just getting started.

I think sculptors tend to overemphasize the butt so it shows through the cloth/fabric/leather. People tend to focus too much on the butt and not enough on the flow of the statue.

Yeah, I don't think so in a Besta.

Although next to each other, they'll work, I think. Bats is 25", Catwoman is almost 2 feet tall (I'm guessing that means 23.5").

I guess I'm one of the few who actually likes the goggles down as much as when it's up. One of the few PFs I think both head pieces are awesome. And on that subject, I think why some thing she looks older is because of her smirk. If you look at the other head piece with the goggle down or put your finger over her lips with the goggles up, she looks young to me.

There are very few releases that I'd be willing to drop $600 for. As a matter of fact, it has only happened once. I did PO the Apocalypse PF. When the price is that high (or higher) I need the piece to have an ES, be MASSIVE, and be a PERFECT representation of the character. If either of these elements are missing I will pass because I do mind sending $600 on any statue.

She looks hot and young to me in both portraits. I really don't see what anyone is talking about when they say she looks old.

The height wouldn't be an issue, you can easily adjust the Besta. The problem is the width, the Besta is only 22 inch wide. It's a shame cause the Bat and The Cat belong together.

Im actually putting Catwoman with Poison Ivy. I'll also have Joker and Harley paired together in my display. I'm going to have Bats lined up in a Trinity display. This is what I think will look best for me. However, I can totally see wanting to put Bats and Catwoman on display together. It is a natural pairing when talking about those 2 characters.

Catwoman is a sexy character that has a large fan following. I think Sideshow will price her at $399 because Sideshow knows that sex sells.

Whether CW fans are willing to fork over that type of dough is another question. Cheap bastards.

But you might as well brace yourself because $399 will eventually become the norm. JMO.

$400 is the new standard. Our only way to combat that is to:

1. Buy only what you love and not just what you like
2. Don't deviate into other lines that you see at SDCC or stuff like Hot Toys
3. Buy less altogether
