I decided to read up on the leaks, as entertainment companies can't be trusted any longer. I'm glad I did. The plot sounds awful, I probably won't be buying the game until it hits the $10 bargain bin. Ultimately it's time and money saved. I'll have to wait for the next Fallout or GTA I guess.

Pretty much how I feel too. It's good though, this means I'll get to devote all gaming time this summer to Ghost of Tsushima.

I'm only a bit irritated that it seems another franchise is ruined that I really enjoyed. It sounds like The Last Jedi on a smaller scale. The first game can stand on it's own just fine and I can dismiss part 2 as easily as the Sequel Trilogy. I won't miss playing the game much because I don't really play anymore anyway. I'm down to Rockstar releases and single player Fallout and Elder Scrolls games. The kind that happen every 5-10 years

I've read and seen all the leaks, I'm extremely disappointed, I honestly don't see how I'll be able to enjoy the game past a certain point.

I don?t know what the hell Naughty Dog was thinking when they wrote this. Joel and Ellie were the heart and soul of the first game, and the way they treated these characters is just horrible. Then there?s the entire identity politics on top of that. A great franchise tossed down the drain. Some leaks mentioned that Ellie dies too? Whether or not they are legit remains to be seen.

Don?t get me started on the terrible work culture at Naughty Dog and Neil Cuckmann?s love for all things SJW.

I already wasn't that excited for the game once I saw Joel was pushed to the sidelines, after the leaks I have zero interest in it now. Sounds terrible.

I'm content to consider the first game as the full story in my mind.

That was also one of the most stupidest things which no one seemed to care about. None of their promo material, nor any in-game reveals ever focused on Joel. They just used him to get the hype up. Sucks because I loved Joel?s character more than Ellie and the way they did him in this game is just beyond words.

This thread is to discuss the figures from the 1st game,
Others like me don't wish to read or know anything from whatever game
and discover the story themshelves when playing it.
Whatever reason you have for not wanting to buy/play the sequel, respect others who wish to discover it themshelves.
You could at least use spoiler tags, this goes especially to @Uravgcollector.

the only good way this series could end is Ellie gets cut up for experiment and finally a cure has been found. but hey they managed to stretch the series for an extra game.

Same here. I won?t buy any TLOU2 merchandise. I will buy the game and play it, but that?s about it.

I?d wish that Ghost of Tsushima come out before TLOU2 though. Oh well, I can wait until July.

They had to make Ellie to look more generic because western fans can't accept non-generic character designs on such a successful game.

The more I read, the worse this fiasco gets. I'm not going to play the game ever i don't think. This one sounds like it's been poisoned badly by that Druckman guy's agenda. I'm finished with entertainment companies that do this, especially with popular franchises that bait and switch. If the leaks are all true, and they certainly seem to be, I hope this game fails spectacularly from a sales perspective.

If I were one of the toy companies having shown prototypes of figures from this sequel I would be rethinking that now, which is really unfortunate

At least the first game still stands on its own as one of the best gaming experiences out there, it will be the same situation as Star Wars, the original trilogy is beloved by many and the Disney trilogy is universaly hated for it's subversion of expectations and agendas bringing down the narrative and the beloved characters of the original.

I'll probably still play the game but I'll borrow it from a friend who is staying away from the leaks, unless it gets glowing reviews across the board from reviewers and fans alike after it's release I cannot in good conscience give money to Neil Druckman and the people who decided it would be a good idea to go forward with the asinine script, I geniunely feel sad over how things turned out for this story and the characters I loved so much, I feel sorry for all the hardcore fans of the original, for the devs who had to crunch god knows how many hours on this, the actors and all the people who left naughty dog because of this.

Any fan of this series would be doing themselves a service by spoiling the story and seeing what garbage this storyline is. I can't fathom any fan of this series enjoying what they've did and I can't imagine what it will be like when they're forced to play as Abby.

There?s a reason why Neil Druckmann is actually called ?Neil Cuckmann?.
The man also actively supports Anita Sarkeeisan; that should have been a red flag for many. If that was not enough, Troy Baker?s interview (voice actor for Joel) stated that fans would have to keep ?an open mind? when going into the game. Another red flag. Who knows, maybe the story won?t be as bad as we think when everything is put in context, but even without that, it still sounds absurd.

Can someone please help me. Im putting together a custom Ellie. Im using the CCToys headsculpt and shirt. (I'll be putting her in some generic jeans and I have her shoes for only 16EUR). I just need her backpack, but it's sold out for now.

Does anyone know a cheaper alternative body for her? Im on a tight budget, trying to put the figure together for 100EUR. I have 25EUR left to spend on the body. I was looking at the Poptoys 93004A body, since its the correct height. However I found out I'm using that body for a Lara Croft figure, the one I used for that has very broad hips and I have the medium chest but its pretty damn big so Im thinking the small chest will still be too big for my liking. Anyone has experience with this body?

If anyone knows a body thats about the same proportions as the S27B you'd be my hero, I buy most stuff on aliexpress. Saves quite some money.
