Got mine in and his guitar is also missing one of the turning pegs. Hopefully OSK can get a replacement. Searched thru all the foam and packaging with no luck.

Coincidentally the same tuning peg as on mine:

The piece wasn't in the foam either, so the factory was somehow breaking them and yet still packing them.

Might as well show the in progress diorama piece for when Joel comes in all I need to do is paint it and weather everything so far is foam except for the fence pieces they are wood

Damn quality control on these is not good… Atleast OSK has very good customer service, hopefully they can replace all the parts.

I wasn’t able to get part 1 Joel but managed to find the shirt from the Kai Studios set that came out many years ago and the CCToys head.


I was never satisfied with how my kitbash looked and now I know why. The ZCToys body is awfulllll. The proportions are all over the place. I used to think this was a pretty good body. Damn this is bad. I always thought it was because the shirt was too small but on the 2.0 body it looks so much better!


I also needed the boots so I immediately grabbed a second body and boots set from ebay. I didnt use a different body for this kitbash because a lot of times these neckless bodies come with these really ugly plastic necks that really stand out and arent textured or painted at all. So I opted for ZCToys. Im so excited for my kitbash now too can’t wait to put it all together

If you guys want something to laugh at, this is my first version of Joel from years ago. I didnt have any experience with kitbashing or 1:6 scale figs in general. He looks awful

I do feel dumb for not getting both LOU Joel and Ellie 2 pack. Oh well I have hope Lim decides to do LOU2 Joel and Ellie from LOU in updated looks. Lol

It looks nice love the weathering on the shirt me i did a little on mine as well, personally I think the zcbody is ok when I ended up getting the part 1 set cctoys actually added padding pieces that help with the proportions I ended up taking off the big body piece to help with holding long gun poses though but left the small one around the abdomen

The part 1 headsculpt, despite cctoys advertising it in the promotion pics does not fit on the 2.0 body.
I had to use a different neckpeg that was actually too small and use sticky tack to keep it in place. But once it’s on it looks good.

My Cctoys clicker arrived! Gonna be a good while, but plan to dirty up the clothes, rag up the rips better, and tackle some arm sculpts with paint! I don't like how skin tight the pants are, so might play around with getting different pants. And a soft repaint to the head with added spit strings. Love the clicker design tho, for the price, had to grab em for Joel and Ellie!

Street diorama in progress for my part 1 figures.. For my part 2 figures I wanna do an interior of a house, Joel is playing the guitar and ellie is standing in the background upgrading her gun at one of those weapon table thingies.

Thanks, all one piece of insulation pink foam, use a ruler to score the lines lightly! Then a pencil works best for depth, add base color and paint

So I took the headsculpt and added more hair to his cheeks, then drybrushed some light gray onto his beard. I'm happy with it. Hopefully these photos appear on the site okay, uploaded from my phone. And I also drybrushed his hair a little.
