Don’t need it, but I’m sure someone is happy about this one. From what I can see the rooted hair and sculpt look alright. My hate for this character changed by the end of the game. It was difficult to get past the event in the beginning, but as the story unfolded it made sense why they did it. Didn’t love the decision, but whatcha gonna do.
Yeah, I think Lim has enough on their plate as it is. People would lose their freaking minds if they announced this, or something similarShe's probably going to be very limited and very expensive.
I doubt we'll ever see a general release unless LIM has a change of heart, or the mood has changed by the time TLOU Part III comes out.

Yeah, now that people have had a few years to calm downThere's a surprising amount of love for Abby in the TLOU Facebook groups now, so the tide may be turning.
Im extremely curious about the pricing. Considering its a fully custom made body and the sculpts have rooted elements. I think anything under $750 would be underpricing it. And I wonder how many will be made.
Youre right. I was basing it off what I paid to make my own Abby custom but didnt take in account profit yet. You’d want atleast $250 profit I’d imagine. So something around $1000 seems like a fair bet.Has Artisus released other figures before?
My experience with customs with low limited runs under 50 is typically over $1,000. Not sure how my Abbys they'll be pumping out but $750 seems to low for a custom.
The Interstellar (Matthew McConaughey) Threestep figure was around $650 with a limited run of 170 figures. I think that was considered a "custom."
i dont care how epic or lovable a character is if it isnt aesthetic (to my standard). she is probably very popular and attractive for others. if not they wouldnt have made statues of her.I dont really like Abby at all, I wouldnt take that figure even for free
Jokes aside, it looks great and pricy for sure..
That wrist joint is bad! They really need to address that and hide it more in the forearm. Sculpts are a little soft too. They need to up their game if they plan on selling this as high end. I will say I like the weathered backpack and the tailoring looks decent.
*We know, the joints will be improved (less visible) on final release.
Completely agree. Sculpt has like a squashed look, or something. A bit undersized with a small face maybe I don’t know I was thinking like $150-$175 tops for this one.It says they're going to address that:
The neck looks too short compared to the game model, and that's something that can't be adjusted due to its design.
Overall she doesn't look that special. Just a regular third party figure, aside from the current excessively ugly wrist joints, and would cost no more than $200 if it saw wider release.

The price doesn’t match the quality
I wanted it but price just killed that for me
I don’t know I look at what Mars Toys is pumping out with their Nicholson Jokers with three sculpts and accessories for $180 and then this thing for the same price, or more and think WTFI haven't seen anyone leak the price yet, but two posts on One Sixth Republic alluded to it:
For the price $170 was exactly what I was thinking, as that's the same as Toys Era's HBO Ellie. Artisus Deluxe Abby has an extra sculpt, so I rounded it up to $200.
Your Abby customs destroy this thing. $1350 is just insane for what you get and I know all about small companies and limited runs. Love the shelf by the wayPackage A usd 160
Package B usd 650
Package C usd 1050
Package D usd 1350
Keeping in mind how this is a very small business and a limited figure. I think they did a good job. There’s a few problems they need to iron out but it looks great. I spent around $1200 on my Abby’s. But that was over a two year period. I don’t think I would be able to justify paying $1350 for this all in one go.
I was thinking about getting an updated headsculpt but ultimately decided to pass on this alltogether. I’m happy where I stand now with my customs. The biggest issue for me is the lack of accessories. Just a hammer isn’t much. My Abby’s have a ton of accessories, some made with real metal and wood. Some I made myself. Others are cheap ebay finds.
Almost finished Lev and Dina. Moving on to Henry Sam and Marlene next
