I was just eyeballing flights on Travelocity. It's $100 cheaper for me to fly into John Wayne airport in Santa Ana as opposed to flying into LAX. I'll have to see how Southwest compares when they open up travel for April. So far, they only go out to January.

John Wayne is normally more expensive for Southwest as John Wayne has much higher airport fees. You could also look at Long Beach , smaller airport (no southwest but lots of Jet Blue) but closer than LAX, but you would have to also factor is transportation costs.

You forgot to capitalize the F, but otherwise a true statement...

It's probably because fury's being mean to him.

I wish we knew WHEN Southwest was gonna open the floodgates... I would probably try to fly into Santa Ana, unless it's a LOT cheaper to go into LAX. Of course, that's only if I was still going...

Yeah, I would expect LAX to be the cheapest, and Long Beach next. Burbank and Santa Ana usually cost more, in my experience...
