I totally understand. I'm just the opposite and wouldn't choose celebration over sdcc ever. I dig SW but for me I can get my SW along with other things I enjoy more plus hang with freaks. That's what's great about either one they allow you to pick your niche and run.

But if there was a LOTR Celebration I bet you would skip it !

(Not for nothing, but to be honest, SDCC this year did not excite me at all, nor did I have any desire to attend. I am not sure what it was. )

I do. The freaking crowds of twitards, exclusive chasers, and others. Also the inability to get a ticket, parking, or a fairly priced hotel room. Pure insanity, of the variety I choose not to deal with any more.

I'd figure out a way to manage both.

As far as this years con it was the best I've been to with the most stuff I was looking forward to see. All the other stuff that people find as a negative don't bother me at all. I find a way to have my fun despite the issues people bring up.

I try to be a glass half full person.


Don't get me wrong it can be annoying at times but as a whole and as many Cons as I've been to I just attack it in a way that allows me to avoid some of the messes.
