I was utterly blown away by the Droid Builder's Room when I finally made my way there on Sunday. I could have spent the entire convention in that one room in awe. Everyone was very generous with their information and costs associated with the projects, and time invested. Also, it was a real treat for me, as a huge Alien fan, to see some of the original floor grating. Truly a treat. Of course I immediately wanted an R2 of my own, but I'm sure you get that a lot in that room.

Can't wait for CVI! 428 more days!

The R2 builders are AWESOME. Helpful, and very open. I have to admit, they are likely the best Star Wars Fan club because of that.

I feel exactly the same way and was kind of wondering when the initial excitement of the announcement would fade for me. But as of yet, it has not. But I do need lots of time to properly prepare for CVI, unlike my quick ramp up to CV...
