Disney World just upped their ticked prices and the other Orlando attractions will probably follow suit. It's up to $85 for a single day ticket now, cheaper for multi-day passes. If you plan on hitting up some of the other attractions while your in Orlando, budget wisely. If you can, have a Florida resident buy the tickets for you. The FL resident prices are always a good deal.

Savvy? :)

I never heard of Kickstarter.com before last week when it was mentioned on an episode of the Forcecast. Now, I've made my first pledge for what I feel is a worthy cause. I gave a donation to the Lars Homestead last year, and while they've already made the amount needed to trek out to the site and restore the structure, there is a new project in motion to create a limited run of watches with "real Tatooine sand" inside.

Currently at $17,148 with a goal of $22,760 before the project will get off the ground. There are many options to give with a regular version of the watch being only $77, and a limited version being $107 (with your name engraved on the back. Originally they were going to limit the limited run to 1138, but have since decreased that number to 250, so not to many to go around. The project only happens if they reach the goal mentioned above. Check it out!

You pledge to donate at whatever level you desire. Then, only if the project makes its projected amount within a certain amount of time (there are 17 days left on this one), you are charged and the project begins.

Oh boy, am I not explaining this correctly. If you pledge, and the project is greenlit by making the minimum amount needed by the cutoff date, then you get charged and you also receive the tiered level product you have chosen, with no further charges. Okay?

:lol

I'm still trying to convince the wife to go...

I may have to sell some things...
