Chakaman's customs, mods and repaints

I worked on Klaatu today. I did the leather work on the boots.

I dont have a sculpt yet. My question, are the Shapeways Klaatu sculpts to scale? I bought one last year and it was too small. I know they were re-scaled, but was curious if any of you guys had them in hand. Any help would be appreciated.




I reworked the pants to have the ends show below ankle guards. It matches the Hasbro figure and a few of the reference pictures.

I don’t know the results of the rescaling off Shapeways either, I haven’t heard anything in a while so it could be a toss up without confirmation.

How’d you do the staffs for the Skiff guards? I need to figure out a weapon for my Nikto haha. Also how’d you do that helmet?

I'm tempted to get the Shapeways sculpt, but its $90+. I want to make sure its accurate. I'll do some research.

The staffs/weapons were custom kits I picked up from Enaud years ago. The helmet was also done by Duane.

Tessek was a little too "orange" for me. I redid the age spots and repainted the sculpt with a different color.

How’d you do the tailoring? Especially the wrist gauntlets- that looks like the perfect material and color! Love it.

Thanks! I can't take credit for the outfit. It was a custom commission job by Enaud. I just did the paintwork. Here was the kit...

Updating my Barada. He has been in a ziploc bag the last few years. I started putting the outfit back together. After looking at things I need to make a new holster, belt, bandolier and update the ammo pouches. . I also plan on sculpting the neck area and repaint my old Enaud headsculpt.
