I'm thinking that this is a great approach for this character - faux fur would work well for the beard. As for the hair, flocking would be a good technique. Isn't there someone on the boards with a flocking machine? Pretty sure he flocked Captain Rex's head, used a funky length and color so it looked kinda like a tennis ball, but he was going to retry. He sounded like he was willing to maybe use the machine for other peoples' projects - anyone else happen to see that thread?

Cantina Wars? Bring it! I've had pneumonia for the last week and a half, so I've done absolutely nothing new in the way of customizing, should try to get my game on again. At least post a few pics of where I was at when by body decided that breathing was optional...

I have been wanting to do a Jabba's throne room setup for quite sometime. I was chatting with Duane last week about it and he was kind enough to build me some steps to go around the throne. They arrived today and I started painting...

I just got done painting the floor, its a bit lighter. Lots to do still, but the shelf I am using for the dio is almost 6' ft long. I should be able to fit quite a few figures in the display.

While I am not finished with my Jabba setup, I decided to set up some dollies to kinda see what it would look like. I just couldnt wait.

The pics are kinda dark due to the temporary lighting I set up. Lighting is going to be the toughest part for me to sort out regarding this scene.

That is sosososososoooo COOL! For ages, I've dreamed of having the steps around the dais so I could set up Bib Fortuna whispering counsel into Jabba's - earholes, or whatever he has, and C-3PO running up with arms flailing wildly, fearing disintegration. Seeing these pics just makes me want this kind of setup all the more...
