Spill the beans! What's in the pipeline? OT aliens are my favourite, infact its starting to look a bit odd that the only humans I have are boba fett and a sandtrooper.

Thanks to a fellow board member, I was able to pick up Commander Bacara. I was gonna wait a while to pick him up, but decided to pull the trigger. I really like him, but I do plan do the same mods Lopie did on his.

Small update on Takeel. I need to figure out a way to add real hair to the top of the head.

Duane hooked me up with some boots a while back the resemble the boots on the vintage Blue Snaggletooth. I thought they would be cool to use for this guy. I cant remember where he told me he got them from. Maybe a Planet of the Apes figure??

Have you tried viscose before? I haven't personally, but somebody on my art degree made some statues with it for hair and it looked great when glued on properly.

...& you are correct on the origin of the those boots...they were from the hasbro Planet of the Apes. I thought the "camel toe" would be an good resemblance of of ye ole vintage Blue Snag boots

A bit off topic, but who cares right???

This past weekend here in Wichita, Kansas I took my son to see the Star Wars prop/model exhibit they have here for the summer.

Lots of cool stuff to be sure. So much detail in all the model kits and props. I took a ton of pics. Here are just a few..

The Landspeeder was cool, I hope Sideshow makes one of these down the road...

My favorite was the Hoth Trooper..

My son Nicholas was amazed by the Snowtrooper....

Being a customizer dork, I was amazed by his boots...

It was cool to see all of the outfits up close. It really gave me some insight into doing custom outfits. We had an awesome time. I also got a TON of reference pics for upcoming projects.

No doubt, he had a blast. I can only imagine what he was thinking when he was looking at all the stuff. Probably the same thing I was thinkingwhen I saw Star Wars in the theatre for the first time. All the way home Nick was saying "aredoo..."aredoo"....

Dorgs painted up some custom R2 units for me a while back. He now has them on a shelf in his room. I need to keep an eye on my shelves, things have been moving around a bit the past couple of days. I have created a monster I think.
