I had always wanted to add the WDCC version to my collection, but it was too pricey. Glad I waited as this is an incredible sculpt (I too prefer the smiling face).

Well I was going to cave and pre-order this, but Mola Ram PF is shipping the same quarter. Not shelling out $600 plus in one quarter. Cherny will have to wait.

The raw sculpt really shows the power and strength of the character as animated by Vladimir "Bill" Tytla https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Tytla. Well done Andy, I have a feeling Bill would have been happy.

As for the head choice, I think I'd go with the 'smile', it's the evil grin of 'someone' that just loves their job.

I am really on the fence on this. I want to order it, but think I might wait for Maleficent......damn........maybe I should order both...I am on the wait list for Evil Queen........choices, choices........

I am a bit confused, I noticed in the gallery that there are some pics with a smile and other not, which face is being produced?

Ohhhhhhhh damn..........must............resist..............urge................to....................go...................into...............................debt...........................gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!

:lol I hear ya, but at least your kids are sucking up your resources. Bills are draining mine.

Yeah, well I have the "triple threat" draining my funds; three kids, bills and a wife that is in love with all things JCrew. :horror :banghead

I have found that I have little to no, "play money" lately. I have actually been "out" of the colletibles hobby for several years, I used to primarily collect Bowen Designs mini busts, then switched to original comic art and commissions, but have been drawn back into resin.

Okay you win. :lol Seriously though, good luck with your decisions on which figures to get. I wish I could get them all because I know it'll be impossible for me to pick and choose. So sadly this line seems to be a all or nothing line for me.

I think I will be passing on the Chernabog, even though seeing it kills me. I think I will focus what funds I do have on tracking down the Evil Queen and hoping to get Malificent. How long did it take the Evil Queen to sell out?

I think you'll have no problem getting an Evil Queen (the regular version at the very least). Maleficent and The Rocketeer is a definite buy for me. I ordered the exclusive Chernabog, but not to sure if I will keep this beauty. A lot depends on what is coming in at that time and how my finances are going.

I don't know how long EQ took to sell out. I don't think she was a fast sell out, but I don't recall for sure.

If you are okay with the regular both Alter Ego and Razor's Edge have her in stock and I've bought from both. There's a good chance the exclusive could come through via the waitlist, but that is a bit of a gamble. I haven't cancelled mine yet, although I'm certain I'm going to, others may be in the same boat.

The Reg took a little bit of time, but was still on waitlist within around a month I think.
The Ex on the other hand went fast, it was up for pre-order at the start of SDCC and was the only item to be on waitlist before the end of SDCC. No doubt the low ES of 300 sure helped.

Chernabog is taking a bit longer, but I can't say I'm that surprised. Sure he's a classic character, from a classic film and looks to have been done very well, but maybe others, just like me, are giving him a pass due to expecting this line to go on for sometime and just wanting others so much more.

Cool, thanks for the info! :banana

I did not wait list the Exclusive, I guess I should have. Depending upon what the exclusive part of Malificent is I will prolly go for it.

Waitlists are fairly reliable with most exclusives... heck a lot of times stuff even ends up on 2nd chance. But, if you go through a retailer you do usually save 10% which does add up.

Since this guy is shipping 3rd Quarter, I placed an order for the Exclusive, just too awesome to pass up! Andy, you did an amazing job with the sculpt! :rock

Always waitlist, you can cancel at anytime whether it has converted or not. So there is no downside to it. Alot of times if I am on the fence about somethng I'll wait for it to sell out then waitlist it.
