A W.I.P of something I've been working on:

I just need to add in the hair. After I finish it, I'm going to be making a HEAVY MOD on this guy, something that would scar his entire face and make him look like a puzzle :p .

Re: Cheungkinmen's Workbench (From sculpting to painting) ~UPDATED POST #324 ~

hehehe.... Looks nice, good luck with the jigsaw mod. I'm sure it will look terrific!

Re: Cheungkinmen's Workbench (From sculpting to painting) ~UPDATED POST #324 ~

I am worrying about you brother, that a company which always like to rip off other sculptors work !

Since someone's ever said :

It is not a recast techincally if a sculpt has been modified and it is an entirely different sculpt only :gah:

This will be a really big problem if most people think that it is not a problem at all.

Yeah I understand your concern, and I'm also worried that later my work might get recasted, that is why I only do limited runs even if my work is not that great, but you never know when you will find a recaster willing to recast everything, like some ebay sellers.

I have been spreading the image of VIVA's Tommy around to raise concern in other forums and facebook, some think it's the same sculpt, some think it is not.

This is a very difficult matter :gah:

Yeah that is an awesome sculpt, I recognised him straight away. You are a talented customiser Cheung!

Re: Cheungkinmen's Workbench ~UPDATED POST #314 ~

Wow :thud:

Who's sculpt is that? Never watched Lost, but I occasionally watch Hawaii 5-0, and that sculpt is phenomenal! Fantastic paint as well, of course :)

Arsyn did the sculpt, he's got a Denzel from Training Day on the way too.

I can't encourage you enough to check out Lost, it was a great show.

Yes, that sculpt was made by Arsyn, great guy, very underrated around the boards.

And thanks! :)

What other sculpts do you have lined up Cheung?

Well, my "Tom Cruise" or more like Thomas Cruz is down the trash can, ended up tweaking it, but didn't turn out the way I wanted it, I gave up on him. So I started on this one, Dominic West, then I'll be modding it as Jigsaw and maybe going to do another mod as Theron from the 300 movie.

After the modding, I'll be starting on Gambol from the Dark Knight, and then I guess I'll tackle on a female character. Don't know who yet, maybe Ellen Page as I want to complete the Inception team. Talking about Inception, I'm modding a sculpt to turn it into Joseph Gordon Levitt, I have Sunohc's version, but since I'm using a slim body for mine, the head is a tad bigger than I expected.

Anyways, this is all I'm planning to work on for the moment. :p
