Can't wait for Gambol

Can't wait for Gambol
That Dominic West is fantastic. Any chance it's going to be Jimmy McNulty from The Wire?
A W.I.P of something I've been working on:
I just need to add in the hair. After I finish it, I'm going to be making a HEAVY MOD on this guy, something that would scar his entire face and make him look like a puzzle .
Really digging this Johnny, love your work!
Johnny- You know I'm in for Gambol. I'll even pre-pay for that one. Black Dynamite for the win!
This is something I've been working on and off. I finally finished it . A 1/6 claypot meal asian style!:
I love this type of meal, so I had to make it in 1/6 XD. If you guys want to see the process (a very abbreviated process) please look here: https://cheungkinmen.blogspot.com/2011/11/16-scale-food-item.html
Ok, back to painting commissioned heads...
Thanks Jon!. To be honest, I used a lot of reference pics from his part on The Wire as other older pics of him, but as for hair sculpt I was going for a longer version, resembling his appearance in Punisher: War Zone as pre-Jigsaw Billy Russoti. I was also planning another as Theron from 300.
But if there is enough interest in ANY of these versions and /or Jimmy McNulty I would make a limited amount of them available, of course.
I'll finish it and let's see what happens.
Hey Cheungkinmen,
Based partially on your inspiration, I finally gathered up enough courage to mod my Liam Neeson headplay sculpts with facial hair, a la Henri Ducard/Ra's al Ghul.
My first efforts weren't too bad, but looking at your pics, I was blown away by how much detail you were able to get in the facial hair. I used apoxie sculpt - I assume you used something similar?
I tried to create a "hairlike" texture, but found the sculpt to be difficult to detail, as the beard is already so small. I managed to make a few thin grooves in the sculpted beard/mustache using a needle, but I really like yours, where it seems more three-dimensional, with actual clumps of facial hair.
What techniques and tools did you use to arrive at the final product? This is honestly the first time I'm actually modifying a sculpt, so I'm a true beginner and would appreciate any advice you could offer.
Thanks!
Is that Feng Ra's? Looks awesome here!
