just saying the face looks pretty generic, like someone's rendition of a bigfoot and not Chewbacca. And yes, I know it's basically the same, but this PF looks more human/ape than Chewie does.

i hear what you are saying... and agree. Chewie should evoke the same feeling as a photo of one's dog... a beloved companion... this piece just doesn't seem to have any heart.

The prototype looked better in that respect, and I think part of it is his nose. It looks bigger and more dog-like in the prototype picture on the right, but it could simply be the photo. The picture on the left makes him look too human, which is where the "bigfoot" references seem to be coming from.

I have to agree, the seam should have been left where it was originally.
It is very distracting now. I dont have any issues with the head, but the seams on the arms are attrocious.
Im glad i didnt waste my points on a pre order for this.
I am now happy to wait for in hand pics before considering any further purchase of this statue.
Way to go SS, you just keep screwing things up. For the prices we are paying now, we would expect to get what we see at pre order.

Had to cut back on my local pre-orders and this and the new Vader 1/6 have been dropped. Had to decide between those two and the droids PF and the new proto pics forced my hand.

Seriously, I hope they fix all these issues since Chewie deserves a great piece after all this time, but I am out.

I really wana break down and get this but im a tightwad, Chewie is one of my fav, but I have Fett Mythos on PO and im 100% getting Commander Cody. Now i can get one more but im holding back on the Yoda life size because i've always wanted one. Do you guys think Yoda might be soon? or would you order Chewie thinking you have plenty of time to save for Yoda?
