Thinking for the next commission for an armored character-project, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a set of Achilles armor (Brad Pitt in Troy)

I know some think Pitt is a bit of a douche, but I still think his Achilles was pretty cool. And a 1/6 Chris Howes-version would certainly kick all kinds of ass I think. Anyone with me?

oh hell yeah! i'm with you all the WAY. it was a great character, even if the movie sucked in parts. its a shame people think he's a douche - he's done some amazing films, and some crap ones granted, but he's a good actor in my book.

we have to do something about these arm and leg sleeves though. shawn isn't doing them anymore and the dragon ones don't look so hot. if we could get something together that looked good i'd be so down for achilles armour.

Hopefully it'll live up to the anticipation shortly! I need to finish a couple details on the chest plate and shoot some photos. I think it's coming out quite nicely.

I watched Gladiator again today on HBO and now I am even more excited about the armor and head. Can't wait to see what you do it. By the way, I'll pay the remaining balance at the end of the month for the full kit.

That's cool! I was just going through the film again.... I do it in slo-mo to catch different angles. Thanks to Quicktime!!!!. I'll have some photos of the chest ornamentation hopefully tomorrow. It's been interesting working on the detail....

We'll contact Chris C. with a list of all the Max heads he'll paint later along with the shipment of heads, then you can send funds and shipping info to him. That's the way he wants to keep it organized.

I am tracking down pieces for a General Maximus custom. The shoulder plates look very similiar, if not exactly the same as the ones Chris will be sculpting.

Hey! Yes, the shoulder is similar and would do in a pinch with a repaint.

Eventually I want to create this armor as well..... but it might be a while!
