Sorry if I'm not up to speed on this thread, I just started looking at it recently. Is the commission for the Maximus armor only or is there a headsculpt included too.

Thanks Chris, I so want to get on this commission, but I would want to use the Hot Toys Muscular body, which uses the long neck peg and not the short adapter. Therefore I would not have the Maximus head to attach to it.

Well, one could grind the neck off and drill out a neck hole without much problem. It would take me about 30 minutes or so to do that. But the real problem would arise trying to fit the armor over the torso. Really it would much better fit the Truetype bodies. It's going to have gaps on the muscular body, I think.

Fitting the armor on the muscular body I wouldn't know about. I do know that Hot Toys clothes fit on the muscle body, it just give the bulky look. Maximus shows a lot of skin, so I would only do it with the muscle body. If anyone knows if the armor would fit the muscle body, please chime in.

A word of advice: I think you'll find the muscular HT body a bit too muscular for Maximus; he really wasn't that buff in the movie. I tried it once with a prototype leather armor Max I was doing, and it looked a bit off:

Thanks, good to know. IMO I think he looks good in your pics with the muscular body, though too veiny. I though Russell Crowe looked very buffed up in the movie, he just didn't have that sculpted 8 hour a day workout look. BTW, what figure did you get that Russell Crowe headsculpt from. Is it one of the Hot Toys military figures?
