All that waiting.....for what you describe. Awful.

Any pics?

Ill post some tommorow. I completely forgot I posted in this thread :banghead

Man that sucks! Unfortunately it does not surprise me. In fact nothing this guy does anymore surprises me.......

Good luck on trying to get your money back.......:banghead

Yeah I mean I was really nice and then I think he just hurried up the paint job and sent it to me. It doesnt look nice at all and unfortunatley I have no idea what to do with it.

Not that it will make a big deal at this point but you should post pix and supply negative feedback on every board that he was on.

Ill post some feedback and pics soon

I guess what upsets me the most is I asked him when I first ordered if he could paint the head for me like the Joker head in his sig because I liked how he painted it and he said he would have to charge me for another head because i already payed Kuato to paint it. Now almost a year later when I ask for a refund he tells me he sent it painted by him, not Kuato.

I haven't had that fresh feeling. :monkey2

Feel better?

I knew words were a problem for Chase. Looks like arithmetic isn't high on his agenda neither.

The paypal invoice does not list the address of the person you sent money to, PM me if you need his info and I will send it to you.....

Thats also a bit dodgy. If you are a confirmed paypal user your and the sellers address should show up on the invoice. Ive been an ebay seller for many years and its the reason why paypal is safe to use

I just checked a couple of my paypal sent payment invoices and it does not include the sellers physical address only the buyers address......You would think it should have it in there but mine does not......

Hmmm... then thats a little strange then. The sellers address should be there if he is a confirmed paypal user

That may be the problem, the way this whole situation has turned out I would not be surprised if he was not a confirmed paypal user.......

actually they do i believe, normaly on the recipt/invoice part when u recieve or send payment to a seller/buyer.

I looked at a few of my paypal emails of payments sent and the only address that shows is mine. It only had the sellers name and email, no physical address....

All I can say is that I pay for a lot of things by Paypal, and I don't recall getting a physical address for any of them. You do when you're the seller and you need to ship an item, of course.

And i think even if you didn't talk with him directly, he'd still post updates for you on these boards when he could. Not anymore though.

I've also said that even if i get my items, i'm going to continue to do what i can to post updates for chris if he relays information to me, so that everyone is not kept in the dark.

But it didn't have to be like this. You formed a mob, and you pushed him out. And while that might make you feel all proud and special, all it did was backfire, and make things worse. You upset him, attacked him, and increased his amount of crap to wade through in order to get work done. And to top it off, made the chances worse for those of us who were calm to begin with of getting our items. So thanks for that! So while i don't agree with him leaving the boards, i can understand that to even attempt to remain here with the hostility that was present, would be a mistake, or at least one of the most difficult and time consuming tasks for someone who is already a busy person.

I was more than patient and polite. But he lied on numerous occassions regarding my items. Chris repeatedly told me that he was working on the sculpt and that he would send updates. This went on for several months. He stopped all communication even before I reguested any refund. Each month I would request an update but to no avail. Is my fault for wanting the products that I paid over $300 for back in August of 2008?
I don't see Chris as the "victim" here. All he needed to do was either deliver as promised or provide a refund. He hasn't bothered to do either.

Chris did the same thing to you as he did to everyone, including me. It's not your fault for wanting updates on products you paid for. (although, to give anyone 300 upfront is a big risk.. i'd really advise against doing that in the future) But of course you are not at fault for wanting updates. What i meant was that turning this into a circus made things more complicated. I think all of us want our product or our money back. But i think it would have been easier to do that if he hadn't left the boards. And all i meant was that it seemed he felt so attacked by the massive amounts of posts about him that he took off instead of confronting us back. Meant no offense to you or anyone else, nor do i consider him a victim. We are the victims. Sorry if I confused anyone with what I said. I was probably flustered from the several e-mails i'd been sending him back and forth, and the childish way in which he would respond to me. :banghead:banghead

Speaking of responses from him, have you heard anything lately?

which email did he say to try again? I sent him a couple but it was his order placement email I think.

I hope you guys learned a lesson from this....NEVER pay for anything before there is something tangible to pay for. You guys all gave him money when he didnt even have previews of what you were buying yet.
