Yeah, maybe less if you buy in bulk. Sadly the falling dollar won't get you as many rat ***** as it used to.

Concerning converting this head to a Hot Toys-type neck: it can be done, no question. I'm doing a couple such conversions on other heads right now. But to my eye this particular sculpt will not look good that way. It really only looks good if the face has a strong jaw all the way to the ears, and Bale, while he has a strong chin, has a narrow jaw that blends into his neck near the ears. The cut line can be done on a curve like Hot Toys does it, but it's still going to draw attention to itself.
Generally, I like the Hot Toys head whenever the throat will be exposed, and then only with a neck that is one piece with the torso, like the Enterbay bodies or a CY-Girl.
My advice: don't do it with this sculpt...

So are you offering a slightly different clean-cut Bruce Wayne version? You may try what I did and have Andy give him a beard and adjust the hair, if necessary, and make a Dan Evan version from Bale's last movie, "3:10 To Yuma". That would be awesome! This way you can offer another headsculpt without the cost of having a completely new head sculpted. Either way, I'm looking forward to your offering.

Wofford's not a retailer like yourself. He privately comissioned Andy to make a Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne head. Images of the head from bare sculpt to the recently painted images stirred up a lot of demand on the board, but for a long time Wofford was keeping it a one of a kind piece. Upon looking at the heavy demand and talking to Andy, they came to a deal to make the head available to memebers of the board that wanted it and this thread is to get an idea of how many are looking for it. The main reason it'll be resculpted, I assume, is to keep Wofford's as a one of a kind.

It won't be 'resculpted' exactly, in fact there are only a few very minor tweaks I plan to make... Mainly because there are a few aspects of the likeness that have been bugging me since I finished it. The fact that Wofford's initital sculpt will remain unique is a bonus.

I just thought you were getting the impression the situation was like the multiple DeNiros you got from Andy and was just sharing what was going on, sorry if I offended.

Hey Maulfan. No need to apologize. No offense taken. The situation like my multiple DeNiros is exactly what I was referring to. Give the Bale headsculpt a beard and the correct hair style and you have have a "3:10 To Yuma" version. Or give him a fuller beard and a shaved head and you have the "Reign of Fire" version. All Andy would have to do is make the alterations. I think something like this would work for everyone. Am I wrong?

It could work, I don't know the full extent Andy's going to on the matter, I know the start was Bruce Wayne desires. I know a fair ammount of people would probably like the base head offered with multiple neck adaptions like for HT or Takara.

Hey, that could work, too. Personally, if it's just the clean-cut Bruce Wayne version, that one works for me. It's an awesome sculpt! I was just chiming in and giving my thoughts along with the rest of the peanut gallery

Well there are others in here that have expressed that they're not just out for Bruce Wayne figures from this, so you definitely raise a good point. This sculpt offers a lot of possibilities depending what you do with it. You could do mods to make it Bale from other appearances, modify how it connects to a body to make it compatible for an HT or Takara figure to be unmasked Batman or other bodies for pure Wayne figures. It's definitely a great sculpt I intend to get, it'll be interesting to see how this all pans out.

Yup. Although a "clean" version would make it rather easy for someone to customize, not everyone has the ability to do so. Let alone as good as Andy can. I, too, am looking forward to the release of this headsculpt. Thanks Wofford and Andy!
