I will ALWAYS have that confidence now. I can and HAVE been wrong. I dare ALL the guys hating this to do the same, if when it comes out they have CHANGED their opinion. This histaria was going on in the Batman PF thread when the first iPhone inhand pics came out. It was the end of the world, and SSC SCREWED EVERYNE. THEN berserkers and rising stars pics came out, and then well, WHERE did the haters go.... They slunk back out of the thread and very few of them had the balls to come out and admit they were wrong. I got that confidence Y4... So if I feel this is a mess then I will say so, and take my lumps. If it looks better then you thought it would can you say the same ... Or will you just sit back and feel like a tool???
I think for the most part people admit when they are wrong... How many times have we read... "In hand photos look great I am going to have to get this" or people PO after SDCC?? It happens. I myself will admit when I am wrong.
Now I am not saying that anyone who likes this has to say something bad about this piece But after the preview shots there was a lot of talk about "Just wait for the full reveal, don't base your opinion on the Preview shots" Well now it's here and now we are told... "Just wait till SDCC" and I am sure after that "Just wait till the In hand Pics". Hell, some have even resorted to wishing for a Low ES so that somehow the non fans of this piece will regret not getting it.
I DO GET THE COMPLAINTS. It is the entitled part that gets me. Until you ORDER a piece SSC OWES you JACK and ****, and Jack left town. Then they owe you a ice that is as close to the proto as possible, and good customer service to address your complaints THEN. That is IT! This "SSC owes me EXACTLY what I want" mentality reminds me of my 6 year old when he is pitching a fit when he wants a toy in Walmart.
I don't really see the "SSC owes me a great CR Superman" complaints here. I see a lot of "I don't like this piece because of A,B, C, or all of the above" Like I have said I think most people have been respectful... In fact I would say that the ones who have been most disrespectful to other members have been in the "Pro" camp.
I will have to go back and read about the "haters" in the Bat thread because it seems that most who *****ed about the first in hand shots latter said that it looked great in person (Me being one of them ) Were we supposed to grovel and say how wrong we were and please forgive us."
Add that to the fact that a lot of people had some major issues with Pit gate and went on to fix it themselves means that they were right to have some concern.
Perhaps it's because it's written word that people get so uptight. But I guarantee I could voice all of these same opinions in person and people would not get freaked out.

Sort of.... I would still prefer the Hulk Brow to be even and I still wish that many of the changes I wanted on Batman were made. I knew Bats would look nice in person. If I did not think so I would not have ordered him. But he still is not a Perfect Batman statue IMO as he does not look great from all angles (to me). Also... Even though I did not argue with you about the Green Lantern PF.. I always thought it looked nice... So I guess that is one for me
That light up was most likely ALREADY planned, hence why the proto had a stand in hand for the initial PO pics. To answer you question I am not getting this, and neither am I telling anyone how to spend their money. I am just speculating this may really surprise people in the end, and that I will be amused if it does.

(and I have been respectful about this piece) I have not seen much of this "going On and On" as others have... It's a damn discussion board.... We are supposed to discuss. This was a piece I was interested in when first announced now it's a big let down. I love to read the opinions of others. Oh and I have been in other threads were I love a piece and someone comes in and bashes it... I will either ignore the post or I will get into a discussion with them and share opinions. I have been known to get into it with a troll or two (real trolls not just people with different opinions) and have just found that that is not worth my time.
I guess I have to much respect for most to just minimize their opinions by calling them haters. The only reason called anybody anything in this thread was to make a point. However there are some who defend everything SSC does and you know what that is fine also. I love hearing from them also as long as they give that respect back in return...

People who are unhappy with the prototype are as entitled to post their opinion as people who like the product.
I have no interest in DC statues and very little interest in their characters but I am a Sideshow fan. That's why I visit threads about items I have no intention of buying.
It interesting to read different opinions. I keep an eye on products and peoples reaction then when items start shipping I also like to hear opinions on how they turn out.
Quality and comparison to the prototype makes me more confident about the items I am waiting for.
If everything was positive and people weren't allowed to express any concerns we would never get the full picture.
Some people like to talk about statues, this forum is mainly here to talk about statues.
It's not limited to positive exchanges only...is it?
It would be a boring place to visit if it was.
