Guys do you not find those rectangular areas that protrude out the bottom sides a little distracting? Kinda of ruined it for me :(

Ummm, no, but seeing how so many are extremely a n a l (not a bad word in this context), on the tiniest details, I believe you.

uhmmm no... thats how the endo is and makes more sense considering the front part is there.

It's sitting on top of a silver car. Will probably reflect the silver from the car. Still, I don't actually think it looks like silver with a clear coat. Certainly a lot more reflective than silver. I think it looks perfectly fine. Has a machined steel look to it which looks cool. I had the Hot Toys 1/4 endo which was chromed and always thought it looked too shiny. The endos were never that shiny in any of the films.

Hopefully when they get to T1/T2 collectibles, they start using real chrome. Just my pet peeve but I personally won't buy anymore endoskeletons that isn't chromed. I know they didn't chromed the actual Endo props in T3 and Genisys, but they did use real chrome in T1 and T2 and that's exactly what makes the original better anyway, especially when looking at them in person without any "movie magic" to enhance the effect, it's gotta have real chrome to really pop in your display at home. I've owned enough endoskeleton collectibles from all different companies to know this.

No..in T1 and T2 they were chromed. They had only some weathering on them for the Futurescene in T2.

That is the Originalskull they used for the firesequenz at the beginning of T2...chromed I would say...:

Its also another feeling when you touch a real chromed endo...it feels cold like real metal. For me the Chronicles Endoskull is overpriced without real chrome.

I never said they weren't chromed. I just said they weren't that shiny in the films. I'm aware of how the props were made, but on screen, you do not see shiny endos. In that very pic you posted, only the skull is super shiny, the rest just looks like raw steel...like a stainless steel or something. That is how the endos looked on screen due to the weathering. Makes them look 'used', instead of fresh, polished up chrome, lol.

Anyway, it's pointless discussing because the endos in Genisys are not chromed, they are painted, and Chronicle is using the same process to make the Endoskull so that it is accurate to the real thing.

We are talking about the skulls/busts in this thread...not complete endos.:wink1:
With the matte effect your right. But at the end its also cold chrome under the weathering. That looks better and feels better in my eyes. And its a more worthy material as a paintjob. But in the new Terminatormovie the endos were painted and no chromed...so it should be screenaccurate. From this point they could sell this painted endos for a cheaper price in my eyes.I think only painting them for the movie was also a matter of price!:wink1:
