Actually, the T2 bust shown looks very different from any other production made endoskull because it was made for maximum effect in that beginning "surrounded by fire" scene. Every other endoskeleton/skull was heavily weathered to a fairly dull chrome look that more resembled polished steel than chrome. The licensed endoskulls never got the correct look and finish right.

Mostly the production pieces looked like this:

No..in T1 and T2 they were chromed. They had only some weathering on them for the Futurescene in T2.

That is the Originalskull they used for the firesequenz at the beginning of T2...chromed I would say...:

Its also another feeling when you touch a real chromed endo...it feels cold like real metal. For me the Chronicles Endoskull is overpriced without real chrome.

wow, that looks beautiful , I've never seen this exact piece. Sideshow should have done their skulls like this. I like the fuller, wider look better

This will be my first Terminator bust. Didn't get the early ones and now they're too expensive. The T-700 (Terminator Salvation) bust is still available but I hate that design and the fact that it's black. This movie may suck but I think this piece is awesome. Can't wait to finally have one next to my Alien and Predator busts!

Here is the screenused T2 chiphousing..also very shiny..:

I think the the complete endos in T1 and T2 are more dull because they had Battle damage(T1:Burned and T2:War damage)
And the skull in the fire was shiny chrome because it was a new Endo.

Got an email from Chronicle today and was excited to see that they're going to be at Dallas Comic Con at the end of May. Can't wait to see this in person!

Sounds like a lot of guessing and I think this and that. There is a ton of info out there on the T1 and T2 Endo's. Cinefx & Winston effect has some good info for you and a good start. Remember each scene required different methods and material used for the desired effect. Chrome plated, machined parts, polished and vacuumed metalized. I like the raw steel effect myself, like the full sized pictured above. I'm happy with the direction Chronicle are going, perfect replica. Even using the exact same paint as what Legacy used. I wouldn't call it a cheap finish either. Paul even disclosed the name and cost of paint used. Not you're basic mass produce finish like other companies are pumping out.

Just for clarification...is this the actual screen used skull for the opening fire scene of T2?
