This looks amazing. I will wait for the completed pics before 100% committing to this but it's looking great so far.

Also with the ECC and Cinemaquette argument, I know they are the same company but I can definitely see the difference in their products.

The biggest complaint with CM is the human likeness which I personally fully understand, but with ECC they are just doing creatures and they've been spot on thus far imo. Unless you count the Arquilian Prince Bust which is also a spot on likeness.

good to know the pants are a work in progress. I wish the hair was sculpted. I have not heard the best about how the hair has turned out in their earlier pieces.

I must not buy.......I want it.......I must not buy......I want it.......I must not buy.........I want it.........MUST NOT BUY!
Sorry talking to myself, nothing to see here, move along.:)

ouch.....hideous. I can see the real hair working on the Hulk, I just Hope they paint the eyebrows.

This is going to be a large statue no doubt - probably a touch smaller than the Wolverine LSF - but is it really worth much more than a SS LSF given the complexity of what it is? I know the 7 CM fanboys will justify it saying CM are the Ferrari of the statue world with the supposed superior applied paints and clothing, and ignore any wonky pose and poor likeness while they are at it, but really CM aren't any better than SS, XM studios or PCS when they get their statues right. And PCS are selling 1:3 statues that are awesome for nearly 1:3 of the price CM are.

Bottom line Cinemaquette is catering to niche...their focus is on high end statue collectors. They are catering to customers the have the financial capacity and willingness to spend $2K on one of their products. If you prefer PCS...that's great...but then again you may not be the ideal Cinemaquette customer. Personally I am not Cinemaqutte's ideal customer either...while I think their Predator piece was fantastic...many of their offerings have not impressed me enough to warrant making a purchase.

Cinemaquette feels there is complexity, details, material and labor costs that warrant the higher price point. Just like Ferrari believes the quality of their automobiles warrants a higher price than what Lexus or BMW charges their customers. At the end of the day, businesses charge a price they believe their core customer base is willing to pay.

I don't see anything wrong with the sculpt or hair. Some should remember this isn't even a finished piece. Hopefully by SDCC, it will be. This will prolly end up being too massive for my collection.

This Hulk is produced by Elite Creatures! Steve Wang did the sculpting so you can expect better execution in all terms! Elite Creatures is doing some awesome work...
