Ths need sculpted hair and a better paint app... The sculpt is being totally let down here.

What proved to be initial excitement over the unpainted version (which i actually prefer more) has turned to disappointment 
This piece, along with the PCS He-Man and Battlecat Diorama, were my two must have pre orders for 2015 and sadly it looks like i'll be ticking this one off the list
It's not so much the hair or the fact that the arms, feet and lower legs are totally clean with no weathering whatsoever
but those shorts!!!?? 
I dont recall them ever being that blue in the movie?
Oh well, like a few have mentioned already....at least thats $2K saved for something else

Wanted it.. the pose is soooo weird I can't even look at ti... unless this is part of a scene with all the Avengers then it may make sense but as a stand alone..I don't care for it.. as far as likeness I think it's pretty good, and I do like the hair.

A good sculpt looks natural from all angles and this looks natural from none.

The Up close shots really get me excited... But as Shai said these products tend to be Wack... Production pieces can really end up looking weird.
I am sure I will be priced out of this anyways....
I don't know what the heck your talking about with that statement. Go look at any ECC piece ever released and tell me they came out looking whack. This is not a CM piece. For some reason, people don't know the difference between ECC and CM. Even though I don't like this, I'm confident the real item will look close to the proto.

Well obviously from my post and posts of others we thought it was a CM piece... So relax
... Having said that I still don't like the real hair on the ECC and think there is a chance of it looking even worse because of it... Sculpted hair and the right price would be tempting.

I think if you are going for a poster-style diorama with all the characters, this Hulk would be a great fit. His larger 1/3 scale in the foreground and the other 1/4 characters in the forefront would look spectacular, IMO.
