That's kind of what I'm doing too. I rather have less of the mass produced stuff and more of the high quality stuff that few people will have.

good call. I've had the pleasure of owning things of all scales, some super expensive pieces. I think 1:3 is the perfect scale. Hopefully more companies will jump on this scale so we don't have to pay 2k a pop for each one.

Agree 1/3 scale is awesome. I really-really wish that Cinemaquette would redo their Christopher Reeve maquette, while theirs is nice it just doesn't capture Reeve's likeness in the material that was used, IMO. Now had it been Polystone like Marcus, I believe it would have been epic.
Now I have to settle with SSC's questionable version of him that will likely be more PVC than anything else. Oh well, it will work for the price,I guess, until some company creates Mr. Reeve as Superman perfectly hopefully in 1/3 or at the very least 1/4 scale statue. But for now this Cinamaquette company and its Elite Creatures stuff has sparked my interest, even though I'm not much of a bust guy.

I'm pulling the trigger on the Alien bust too from Encounters of theThird Kind!Just sending an email to Cinamaquette on the estimated release date and edition. Don't want it released or shipped at the same time as the Lycan because I would not be able to afford both, especially with no payment options available.

factory. It should be stateside by mid April.

Actually Lycan bust I might not get which I'm really sad to say I'm actually on a waitlist so someone would have to cancel the preorder for me to have a chance :,,(

Not sure how that works iamgroot, it is still available on their website and the CS only said that those that order now just need to wait two months from Feb to get it but it was a sure thing as they will prioritize early preorder first. So you do have a chance to get it if you order it. Do you know something I don't know on how this company operates? This is my first order so not sure how they work.

beautiful piece. I really like The First 3 Underworld films, not sure if i like it enough to purchase a Lycan for my collection, though.
I must add the realism and presence seems first-class with this piece. It's certaintly a piece to consider, as how can any monster-lover go wrong with a piece that looks like this...?

The 1:3 scale diorama is Underworld-awesomeness, but a 1:3 scale diorama is a little crazy.

Interesting. Perhaps I better email them and ask questions regarding my order to confirm that I will be getting one and that it's not up to chance if someone cancels. It would suck if that is the case for they do not display the status of waiting online even now.
