I like it but with high price, no ES and no ex... I will wait it out and buy later. Love this with no fabric. She looks great. I wil buy with coupon or aftermarket.

most comicbook shops don't. SS is a pain in the ass to deal with.

I have a close friend who is a licensed SS retailer, and the stories he tells are beyond belief. If he didn't make bank at it, he would have told them to go scratch long ago.

I already have the modern version and will get this variant too. I loved her in both costumes from my comic reading days. I think the face looks good in the full reveal pics. I just hope the factory can pull off the eyes, lips, and teeth well. I also like that this version shows off the body sculpt. That's probably the biggest selling point for me. I like mixed media but not when it hides a lot of the sculpt's details.

same here. I have met a lot of the SS dealers in Canada through the larger cons up here and the way they are treated is rather appalling. SS really likes to "tighten the screws" and the margins are unbelievably low. Some said "screw it" and no longer have accounts. The few that do manage to survive by taking online orders, but with qc going out the window, those days might be numbered as well.

I would give my left testicle for Diamond to get the rights to distribute XM.

Green Ivy PF already sells for under 300 on ebay. LOL these high ES pfs will make sure prices fall on the aftermarket.

I really don't think that is it. Statues are very slow sellers for comic book shops, and they are huge space eaters. The shop in Mannheim still has Hard Hero pieces out on display (was looking at the Conan), and they take forever to sell through. When i asked about that Conan, the owner was so exasperated as if it had been his biggest mistake to order it. Wasn't budging on price though. Small shop without the overhead to carry the more expensive stuff like SS.

Now a bigger shop in Saurbrucken has SS and Hot Toys, I mostly just look as they don't take a vat form and the exchange rate plus 19% tax is too rich for my blood. When I was asking about figures I told the guy I was interested in getting into collecting them, he told me don't. They hate carrying them for the reasons already mentioned, and he said it was a huge pita to collect because of the space needed for everything. Having already seen that here, I just nodded.

As to this Catwoman, I went ahead and ordered from BBTS. It's not scheduled until December, so more like next year, and wanted to get in an order in the event they suprise us with a low ES. Will swap orders if it becomes coupon eligible.

I'm with you there. Love the sculpt of the body, and just the fact that there won't be any fabrics to hide the sculpt or just make her look awkward (man, I've seen some nasty photos of the other Catwoman PF). But the face of this is keeping my away. I had expected an alternative portrait, at least. I guess not.

I really like it but it needs an alternative head sculpt from The Long Halloween to really nail it.
