FINALLY! I have been wanting a Catwoman statue for a while. But I have disliked all the ones released.

This one though. This one will do.

Yeah this one might be the one I go with. The face needs a COH with a prettier face or more calm face. It's still good but can be even better. I guess I prefer a non grinning facial expression. If this one turns out good I might get rid of my current CW. I really don't need two CW. The current PF is good but does not blow me away with the face either.

That's why I still have it. it's not Mark newman. It's the direction SS is going with real people faces and expressions over generic comic book faces. Mark newman is killing every sculpt to perfection. He's still the best at what he does. XM is killing the cute, comic book generic faces on the woman.

I actually like this one better than the modern Catwoman that they just released. I was watching a video on youtube of a guy that took the cloth off the Modern CW to customize it. When you look at it next to this CW, it looks like they just updated the sculpt adding in the wrinkles, a few more muscle details, etc. It also appears that this CW is turning in the opposite direction as the Modern CW (I could be wrong if the Classic CW pics are inverted). IMO, I think the Classic CW is an improved sculpt. I can see how some don't like the face as much, but that's not a dealbreaker for me. I grew up in the 90's reading the KnightFall and Knight's End runs in Batman so this version of CW has always been one of my favs. It will probably be my first DC PF. I think it would look nice next to the new Modern Batman PF, which I think looks better than the first version.

I agree but I am waiting on in hand pics before I buy anything. Sideshow Quality Control has been horrendous lately on these high edition size pieces. They're not getting my money till I see final product. When Sideshow is good though -- they are great, ie Superman PF. Wonder Woman turned out amazing but they had no business making 9500 of her because half of them turned out broken or with nocs in paint. I cannot stand what they did to Modern Catwoman's face paint compared to proto so I didn't buy her and the way original Batman PF turned out in my opinion was... well, I prefer to plead the fifth on that since so many are fond of that piece around here. All I will say is I wish he turned out more like the Superman PF did.
