Will be seeing it tonight. Heard it will be Eastwoods last acting performance.

No, it won't. Clint clarified that in December. Something he said earlier was taken out of context. Clint never retired from acting. :D

Although he realizes roles like this rarely come along and he's not getting any younger.

Saw it yesterday and thought it was really good. Clint was classic Clint.

One thing that did annoy the crap out of me was the horrible acting by everyone in the film, other than Clint. Not everyone, but 90%, most of whom where prominent characters.

Was this done intentionally? Hiring non-actors?

No. Not necessarily...

I saw a Screening of this at DGA and Clint came out on stage for a Q & A.

Clint said most of the Actors were found locally and that the Boy had NO Experience. His inexperience definitely showed on screen although you have to give the Kid some credit. The girl (Sister) had experience. The Mother I believe also had no experience.

I give them credit for sure, if I had to act along side Clint I would probably make poopy in my pants.

But still, I like to see a cast who are all equally talented and compliment each other.

Clint held the film together, without him it would have been a straight to dvd release. Just replace Clint Eastwood with Steven Seagal and you see what I mean.

Still a good movie though.

Seagal would've beaten the ^^^^ out of all the kids the first time around... :lol:lol
Then he would've moved on to save whales or something like that...

I finally saw this on Blu-ray tonight. What a great movie! You guys were right, I was expecting some hardcore revenge flick. But I was pleasantly surprised. :D
