I do think that Jaws is a perfect film but I wouldn't mind this so much if they actually just made a movie version exactly like Peter Benchley's novel as, for me, there are enough differences to warrant such an endeavour.

Anyone see the new Hellraiser movie on Hulu? It is a reboot as Pinhead is a female now, and the way the box works is different, but it felt like it was in the spirit of the first couple of films.

I thought the movie was really good. The different Cenobites were great, some nifty kills, and they added a new dimension in allowing the person who ultimately solves the puzzle to choose a certain reward. Not as good as the first film but it is a solid, creepy horror movie.

Like we really need this rebooted? I would think DTV releases were enough to show nobody wants this.

When I think of Hellraiser, this is the only one I associate it with.

Not incorrect at all.

And in the Hellbound Heart he had a feminine voice.
And to be fair, the actor was born a male, hence why “male like voice and not very female looking”

The trailer for this looked fantastic - a return to the franchise' gothic roots and tone - there were even glimpses of the Labyrinth and Leviathan!
Sadly there is no way to watch this in the UK at the moment - how was it? Anyone see it?
Reviews seem mostly positive, a little mixed, but thats the case for the original as well - its not for everyone!
