Yeah, the doily does tend to work much better for these 1:6th figures than some of the statues. I have.

Thank ya! Really nice figure as is the case with the other clones. I really like the weathering on this figure as he looks as if he's been in a fight.

It's been cool to see the variety of weathering/distress the Sideshow's been applying to these figures...really distinctive not only to the Clones, but alluding to different environments they may have been in too.

It distinguished them from one another as much as the different colors.

I really hope we get a Phase I Commander (yellow), with some red Geonosian dust on him....

Meanwhile this Sarge is looking great...

Agreed the weathering they've used on all the clones has been just different enough to make them unique.

I would expect we'll see that figure before the end of the year and could see it as the comic-con exclusive.

I wonder if Sideshow's ever considered varying the colors and styles of the markings they use for weathering on each trooper. While the weathering differs from trooper to trooper, it's always clear that the same tools are used for every marking.

Am I making sense? I didn't get much sleep.

Thanks for another great vid review, Josh man!!! It will be as few weeks before I get mine so its great to see what can be expected!

I think I get what you're saying. You mean because they look like the same marks all over?

Thank ya! He's pretty damn impressive I think in regards to the other clones.

Exactly. Depending on what caused the stuff, the quality of the scuffs, scrapes, scratches and scorch marks would be different. Different colors, different outlines, etc. I'm sure there's a logistical issue involved (read: cost) with the decision to simplify it the way they have. I don't think it detracts from my enjoyment of each clone, but it would be cool to see that heightened level of realism in the weathering.

That would be cool if they did that and I'd be all over that. Maybe we'll see that in the future. :rock

oh yeah thats always possible. I'm cool with how they come looking out but I'm sure plenty of folks tweak them a bit after getting them to what they want.
