Sorry for the blurry pic...I'll get it corrected as soon as I can.

does all this armor come off? whats the black suit like underneath if so? would it be possible to put all this on a hot toys body?

Got mine today and I am not a happy camper. They doubled up my order and shipped both of them together in an oversized box. I HATE that! I like having the individual boxes to protect the figure's box in when I store them. I can also see what is what when I need to go though and pull out a specific one. If anybody is going to get rid of their boxes, the one with the styrofoam inserts, I would appreciate getting 2 of them.

On the bright side...excellent figure and I can't wait to get some pictures up!

well,some people got real problems...........
just enjoy the clone!!!!

Ummm...technically it is already on a Hot Toys body. Hot Toys developed the armor body for Sideshow.

I still gotta change the picture, though.

oh ok cool. but it can all be dissasembled? any pics of this? with this clone trooper or any others?
also, looks like the black suit under this one is different than earlier clones. whats this one like? anyone who has it able to take close ups?

thanks everyone

Just some quick answers for you...

The black body glove (suit) is different than the earlier releases...it' switched from a "pleather"-like material to a ribbed fabric that looks and fits great!

As for your earlier question about switching the body...the body these clones feature is a special one designed for the armored figures...the limbs are thinner and not naturally proportioned, allowing the sculpted armor to be more properly scaled and more form-fitting to the body.

I don't know if anyone's taken the armor and tried fitting it on a more "standard" body...that's a question I'd post in the SW customs thread if I were you....good luck!

Also the body suit was changed 3-4 clones back so it isn't exactly a new change.

Here's a quick shot of mine just out of the box. Not sure how I want to pose him but I really want to use the bendy foot that comes with him. Another great clone from Sideshow! :yess:

I'll get more shots up over the weekend...

Nice shots guys! Got mine today but I also got War Machine today so I spent my time on that. The clone goes tomorrow.

My brother and I got ours today and I gotta say its pretty awesome.

I have to commend SSFs on their push to increase their quality. The pegs on our figures ankles are tight as hell and I pushed and pushed to get them to turn and they did...kinda. It did move but i was surprised how the plastic just gave but never broke. If that were the old pegs it would have broken for sure.

I also have to say that they deserve recognition for making attempts to keep the leg armor from spinning on the limbs. The added velcro strips and rubber pads in the shins does help. I also think the redesign on the knee guards is worth mentioning.

There are only 2 complaints I have about this figure cause everything else is very good, ie paint, joint tightness and execution.

One minor complaint is the packaging. It really has gotten boring. Its time for a refresh. What are the packaging guys doing over there? Let em loose SSCs!!!! All other SWs products have moved on from that old style packaging and its time for SSCs to do the same. The other issue with the packaging is the poses. Maybe its just me but they don't seem to ever pose the figures in a way that is all that flattering to them. Their poses seem very flat. They don't really showcase the figures very well.

My other issue is...and this is a big one, they missed the friggin red light on the back of the helmet fin!!!!!:gah::slap:gah::slap:gah:

Ok, maybe that's not such a big deal but it needs correcting. Funny they didn't miss that on the all white clones with the phase 1 helmet but the Sarge missed out.

Hopefully, any upcoming phase 1 clones will have the corrected helmet.
Hope you guys enjoy your clone...its awesome!

I'm not a 1/6 collector but I think I might have to get on the clone train. The last few releases (lieutenant, Rex) and this one look awesome.
