My brother and I got ours today and I gotta say its pretty awesome.
I have to commend SSFs on their push to increase their quality. The pegs on our figures ankles are tight as hell and I pushed and pushed to get them to turn and they did...kinda. It did move but i was surprised how the plastic just gave but never broke. If that were the old pegs it would have broken for sure.
I also have to say that they deserve recognition for making attempts to keep the leg armor from spinning on the limbs. The added velcro strips and rubber pads in the shins does help. I also think the redesign on the knee guards is worth mentioning.
There are only 2 complaints I have about this figure cause everything else is very good, ie paint, joint tightness and execution.
One minor complaint is the packaging. It really has gotten boring. Its time for a refresh. What are the packaging guys doing over there? Let em loose SSCs!!!! All other SWs products have moved on from that old style packaging and its time for SSCs to do the same. The other issue with the packaging is the poses. Maybe its just me but they don't seem to ever pose the figures in a way that is all that flattering to them. Their poses seem very flat. They don't really showcase the figures very well.
My other issue is...and this is a big one, they missed the friggin red light on the back of the helmet fin!!!!!

Ok, maybe that's not such a big deal but it needs correcting. Funny they didn't miss that on the all white clones with the phase 1 helmet but the Sarge missed out.
Hopefully, any upcoming phase 1 clones will have the corrected helmet.
Hope you guys enjoy your clone...its awesome!
