Looking forward to seeing your trooper.
No problem @ all! The pose is quite simple but once I got it set up I really liked it. I much prefer the ep3 clone design but I have to say ss did a great great job with this. Now with the 501st ep2 clone coming it's gonna make a great combo.

you meant 501st Ep3 clone, right? Or did you mean the blue clone lieutenant from SDCC? Cuz he's not 501st, just blue cuz he's a lieutenant (doesn't mean he couldn't be a 501st lieutenant before colors denoted legion affiliation like in Ep3
)

Right it doesn't mean 501st but I'm associating it with the 501st.

Thank ya sir! Glad I finally pulled my head out and got this one. I saw it at SDCC last year but I was in a real funk and wasn't much into anything. Finally got myself to realize how nice it is before it was gone. With these clones I like simple poses like what I have with this one that show a simple power of the clone.

Most deserving of the doily treatment. I don't know why, but I always favored the Phase 1 look over the ROTS guys.
Well, with being white and all he matches the color.
I love clones in general but I do tend to favor ROTS over Ep2.

Perhaps it's because everyone thinks Stormies look cool, and we think the Phase 1 looks cool, but Phase II is essentially both mixed together...
Like the Terminator T-800 (Arnold S, I mean) is cool by himself, and so is John Connor from T:S (sort of), but honestly if they got blended together it would be sorta

well, you get the jist of what I mean right? There's white and black, and the grey (a mixture of each) is just kinda boring? cuz you know, grey is boring? Contrast = good?
I don't even remember what I'm trying to say here.... oh well
perhaps it's because the EpIII helmets have sort of been "done" before, and aren't as new as exciting as the EpII versions.... Also the EpII version is more "pointy", if you look at the shape of the fin, the visor, and the cheeks, whereas the EpIII is more rounded everywhere and it just looks sort of fat?

I think, in my case, it's probably that the Ep. II helmets show the evolution and inspiration of Jango due to the similarities between the clone buckets and Mandalorian ones.

I also dig the EP2 domes to those of EP3. I just wish there had been someone in the art department at LFL could have designed better looking/more realistic weapons for the clones. The big DL-15(whatever) just sucks aesthetically. I remember getting a sneak peak clone back in 2003 or whenever EP 2 came out and noticing that his blaster was just a combination of other ACTION FIGURE weapons. That shows no originality and more proof Lucas surrounds himself with people who aren't going to question him creatively.

Actually that's quite correct!
When a concept maquette was made (a scale model that is scanned into the computer as the basis for the 3D computer model), they made it in 1/6 scale, and they used the hasbro 12" sandtrooper rifle, cut off the front, and stuck the 12" stormtrooper rifle onto the front with the trigger cut off... they left the scope on too.... on the bottom!
in the DK AOTC visual dictionary, it says it acts as a handgrip, but can be removed from the bottom and put on top and used as an actual scope... they never show any trooper using it that way though, not in two movies (or many many CW episodes, as far as I know...)sandtrooper rifle:
