He won't take a loss if he puts the starting bid at the minimum he wants, he'll just sell it or not sell it.

I advised him, get what it deserves or don't sell it at all, but don't sell it for a loss.

He still pays listing fees, which will add up the longer he relists with no sale.

I wouldn't keep relisting it with no sale. If it didn't sell the first time, odds are you'd need to put it up with precision timing to find someone willing to pay for it, and to me it wouldn't be worth it to keep paying listing fees hoping each time will be the one. At least not in his position, he's just looking to sell it to have some cash to put towards other things, he's not in a position where he needs to move it, so, take a shot on eBay, take a shot here, see if someone will buy it for what it's worth, and if they don't, keep it.

Or, he can list it for free here, amongst those who know the value of a Hurricane custom. Safest and most economical bet in the long run. Hell, he can even pimp it with pics in the Cody thread.

I wasn't suggesting he only put it on eBay, just that it could be an option for him too. I would agree that this site is the best place to start, people here have respect for what custom work takes, regardless of who did it, and knowing Hurrican only helps.

Thank you for digging that up, it's pretty buried. I'm glad Anakin's just on the taller Pro. Looking at the other updated one, I don't like shoulders, they suffer the same problem the old Hot Toys True Types had, the shouldesr are flat looking, there's no natural slope down from the neck into the arms like a human body has. Nobody has straight accross shoulders. Hopefully it's just the position it ended up in for the photo and not the best shape the shoudlers can be posed in.

I hope once they work out the kinks they start offering loose bodies the way Hot Toys sells True Types.

I doubt they'll release the bodies loose until people start becoming completely content with figures showing up on them, there's still a mix of it's ok and it's too loose feelings about the Pro, tough to sell a base body that people aren't happy with, people are pretty universally content with the HT bodies and happy to spend money for them.

Also, for any Buck to Pro conversions, Sideshow would need to make an adapter like Hot Toys for sculpted neck figures.

can't wait till this guy ships. really hope they do at least a couple more characters from the show.

The poses on the SSC site of Anakin look odd. The shoulder looks messed up.

It's just how they posed him, Sideshow's site pics don't always present figures in the most flattering posing and light.
