It looks fantastic! Though I doubt they'll got all the way to the Battle of Coruscant, since I doubt they'll blot out what was done in the cartoon. I imagine it's in the period of season 2 of the cartoon after Anakin is made a knight. Hence his hair--it's obviously after he's been knighted, but some time before the battle of Coruscant.

I don't know if it's been mentioned in the thread, but it looks like both Anakin and Obi wan are wearing upper body armor similar to Darth Vader's.

At CIV, they actually mentioned that it was part of vaders armor. (not his actual armor obviously, but a type of armor that vader wears) They said they went with a mixture of Ep. III, Clone Wars, and Ep. II for all the costumes the characters would wear.

I kinda agree. I'm a huge Gendy fan, they should have at least used the rest of the writers/animators on this, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuut I'm a lame as sucker so I'll watch.

I know, I just watched the DVD's this weekend again. Finally finished my CW Animated Hasbro collection too. I really wish they continued that line, but the majority of fans want "realistic" version to go with the rest of their toys, ya know, so they can make them have tea parties and junk without they "style" being all cartooned up. I guess.


Alright, it's early and I'm done being bitter, time to go rag on the Biker Scout PF some more............................

For the last time, Lucasfilm did not shut Genndy Tartakovsky out of this CLONE WARS incarnation. In fact, they originally approached him to do them again but it was Tartakovsky that declined because he would now rather work on his own stuff rather than dedicate himself full-time to SW (which is understandable). So LFL re-thought the entire project and started from scratch, making this the first Lucasfilm Animation project.

I love the original CLONE WARS Animated Series as much as anyone, but it's silly to hold a grudge against this new one just because it's not being done by the same group, especially since they did have their chance and turned it down.
