Cobra Commander!!!!!

Cobra Commander arrived today and man is he a sweet figure, the coat is a definite weak point but without it he is top notch. His uniform fits great and his gear is awesome, the sceptre/sword is definitely the way to go with him. The headsculpt is really great too and the eyes are excellent, I love it!

Seeing a bit of purple on the trim again, there. But I assume that is the pic. How does that look in person?

WITHOUT the silly coat is definitely the way to go with this. I wasn't going to pose him with it even if it turned out like the proto, but that is definitely the weak point. Still... Looks great!

It's barely noticeable, doesn't take anything away from the figure, IMO.

It's a nice coat, it's just the pads that make it look bad, I might remove them and use it for my Blade figure.

Took the words right out of my mouth. They could've taken the easy route and just used a Joe stand but they didn't. I also think, that since I'm not using the trench, I'll lower the head a bit so that it sits closer to the shoulders.

Agreed, I wonder if they'll make a different base for Destro or just give him the Cobra one.

here is a mod on the cobra Commander's coat by 今小文 on toy world. Looks way better. The reveal is a pretty neat little animation. Who knew TS is a bad man?

hat does improve the look of the coat... so the sleeves were tightened, but couldn't really tell what happened to the shoulders.

Glad thought that the pimp cane does not come in his color scheme

Yeah, the coat looks much better after the mod. I couldn't quite follow how he did it though.
