Is it coming Fed Ex then? I thought UPS didn't deliever on Saturdays.

Oh yes...FedEx...I would not have it any other way.

About the figure.

Oh

My

God

I have to apoligize for the fast pics. I will get better ones up as soon as I am done loving on this figure. I have done only minor futzing on him. I filled his ass pack with cotton balls. Tightened up some straps. He is getting stripped in a minute to set all of his gear.

If I had bought the blue Cobra Troopers, I would have changed whatever needed to be changed to use these black ones as both, the basic ones...AND the Snipers. As it stands...when I troop-build the troopers, I will be getting extra black uniforms to use for them.

I think this is the sweetest military figure I have ever owned.

I tug on the straps and I don't feel that they are so fragile they will pull off.

This figure is 2 small details off of perfection in my mind. Working canteens and a bipod (sorta standard for sniper rifles, really., imo). And I will never miss those details.

My jones to go back and catch up on the G.I. Joe figures I have missed is boiling right now.

Sideshow...congratulations and thank you for an incredible figure.

I think I need a re-boot. Photobucket is lagging so hard I can't get to my album where I uploaded the pics and the SSF Gallery will not allow me to upload any files.

Pics in a minute.

Let me get his gear set and I will get some more shots up.

The joints on this figure are so tight that one of the things I will be looking for is to see if this character was made on a Buck body.

Here is another shot. I am having trouble getting a good shot as it is just too dark in my house at night. First thing in the AM I will take him out into the sun and get some really good HiRes shots.

I'm still on the fence. He looks nice, but I'm not sure about picking up a black uniform variant.

Wow great pics. So glad I didn't cancel now. I almost did as I still haven't even opened the officier. Monday delivery, can't wait now.

Thank you the pictures.

Maybe it's the photo's angle or lighting, but the dark BDU arm sleeves look a bit short compared to the COBRA Trooper?

I love this figure. And I actually prefer the black to the blue despite it's being inaccurate for the regular troops. Here are some more pics.

That last shot is great! And it only proves to the nay-sayers about the black not being an accurate cobra trooper color. It is more functional though, even in that desert shot. Blue would be more noticeable.

I can't wait for this guy to get here. It will be fun to hide him somewhere in the display and see if anyone ever spots him. :lol

looks like another winner. personally i like to troop build better with these variants than to buy a whole bunch of regular troopers. the new accessories and sculpts help keep it interesting.

Doesn't matter. The original Cobra Trooper is blue. Case closed.
